I bought this cage to extend my mini coop for my 5 girls. It was easy to connect it to the original. The wire is a little flimsy but I’ll be reinforcing it with heavy duty chicken wire. This pen provided way more space than needed for the chickens and they love it. I can also walk into the coop standing up right with no issues to water and feed. Water will hold on the tarp so try and stretch it as much as possible to keep it from weighing down in rainy weather. I love the door latch because it’s pretty much “kid proof” so my toddler isn’t able to run in and out and risk the chickens escaping like the first starter coop. I have 5 chickens and you could probably get away with up to 10 in this pen. ... show more

The chicken wire that comes with it is very flimsy and definitely NOT PREDATOR proof if using this for chickens or rabbits. I had to cover the whole thing with hardware cloth, another expense to factor in if using for this purpose. Took me a few hours to put together. The chicken coop wire is lower grade then what I'm used to but it is coated. Not a bad product for the money, I just thought it would be sturdier.

The connectors are not very good quality. I purchased another brand, same size for our other bunny enclosure and it came with better (sturdier) connectors. This enclosure completely collapsed with snow while my other one is still standing. They are side by side. The middle four way connector bent and snapped the top rails completely failed and bent. The door latch is also something I don’t like as well as my other brand. The tarp is useless. The chicken wire that it comes with is also thin and useless. I ended up wrapping it in hardware cloth instead. Overall, I wouldn’t purchase this again. I wouldn’t recommend it. There are better options. ... show more

This went up very quickly and easily. The quality is exactly what I expected. If you can put up a tent you can build this frame. The chicken wire that comes with it if flexible and will keep my chickens in. But since I have dogs I reinforced it with hardware cloth on the bottom three feet to be safe. I would suggest getting some stronger zip ties at some point since these ones will eventually break off but that's what you get when you put plastic in the sun anyway. ... show more

I was nervous to purchase this but I am so thankful we did!! It works excellent for our chickens!! Wasn't hard to put together. Wish the wire fence was more heavy quality but we've had it up for a year now and still works excellent! It's not rusting or bending. Very much worth the money!

The product is okay. I bought it for my chickens and it works to an extent. The directions were not so much help. Small pictures and very limited instructions. Wiring was good. Trap is of good quality. My one real problem is the door. The hinges don’t stay in place causing the door to move and get out of place a lot. The latch is a joke. It gets stuck almost every time I go unlock or lock it. So I’m gonna have to go spend more money on this kennel so I can make sure it has a 100% operable door, it’s about 20-30% at the moment and I wouldn’t leave my American bully in that because I know she can get out so 10 out of 10 a predator can get in. It wouldn’t do the job of confining an animal very well at all! Of any size for that matter. ... show more
