  • Nice for the price
Arrived fast. Assembly of the frame was easy, putting the wire on is a bit of a challenge for one person. I would suggest using wire or stainless ties to attach the cage wire to the frame as the plastic ties degrade in sunlight and will need replaced in short order. And don't forget to anchor this to the ground as it's fairly light steel. Chasing chickens all over the neighborhood ain't fun after a Kansas windstorm. Some suggest buying a stronger cage wire to prevent nature from happening, but so far no predators have got to my birds. But my coop is also inside a perimeter fence in the backyard. ... show more

  • Nice medium sturdy build
I am 77 ys female who put this together by myself. So one person can put it together BUT experience played a role in the order in which to build it. I have put together many large tents for vending and this unit is similar so the experience helps in the order that you put it together. The directions are not clear in some areas. Always put the roof and all its attachments together FIRST. Then add the legs and finally the bottom. Far less headache doing it in that order. This unit is flimsy as it is not as sturdy as a more expensive one. Wind could damage it easily so it needs to braced and tied down in stormy times. Otherwise it will travel wherev ever. It is too light to be stable. One could add wheels to it amd make a portable unit for your chickens. You need to be nindful how you assemble poles and where their holes are located for further building. The braces at the bottom corners are moot for my enclosure as there are not holes in the poles to attach them. They would be helpful if holes were in the poles to attach adn stablize. I added rope and ties downs to keep it from "walking" in the wind. ... show more

  • Easy to assemble, great run.
Pattern Name: 1" Dia Flat Roof Size: 9.2' x 18.7' x 6.4'
Very easy to put together with the instructions. At times the push buttons don't line up completely with the holes but it works pretty well. The tarp doesn't hold up in the wind as it tears the grommets. I recommend removing the tarp during heavy snowfall and high winds. I have not had the product blow away in the wind. Unfortunately I have to buy new ones due to the ice storm of 2025 hitting Northern Michigan as a couple branches fell on it and bent many of the poles. Thank goodness the chickens weren't out there. Its best to follow the instructions when adding the chicken wire so you can cover the most space with less wire. The zip ties do not hold up for more than a year. You may want to run wire around it so it holds up longer. ... show more

  • Does the job
It was fairly easy to assemble once I realized that there were two bars that were the wrong piece! The metal pegs were going in the opposite direction that they needed to be and there wasn’t a way to fix it. So I have two bars that are not as secure as the others. Once you put the chicken wire up and tie it down, it wouldn’t fall apart. The door, no matter what I do, it’s slanted. I am not able to steak it down in the ground as it is on concrete, one side sits flush on the ground while the opposite side does not. It’s sturdy. The cover is not waterproof. It’s very thin material. I do recommend this though. It got the job done. ... show more

Super poor quality. entire thing collapsed under a bit of snow. It was right after the warranty expired, so they wouldn't do anything to fix it. I have another one of these by a different company that looks just as good now as it does when I set it up 6 years ago, so it is possible to make these with better quality. ... show more

  • Not necessarily a coop, but a nice chicken run.
Pattern Name: 1" Dia Flat Roof Size: 9.2' x 18.7' x 6.4'
This thing is way bigger than it was in my mind lol. We had four people and it took us several hours to finish. Some of the stickers had come off the poles somewhere along the line. So there was a little confusion. Plus you have to be very certain which way you put the poles in because some have holes in them for braces. Otherwise it went up pretty quick and easy. You will need someone tall or a ladder for the top and the fence at the top. The only downside is that when it rains the top holds water on it. Still working on a solution to that. The chickens love all the room they have. And I love that critters and birds can’t get in! ... show more

  • Quick assembly, Serves its purpose with a few mods
I liked this design. Easy to assemble. Not sure why people complain about the picture instructions, my son got it just fine. I plan to put nesting boxes mounted to the side of the structure, so I can get the eggs without going inside. Pros: Easy to assemble Spacious (12'x9'), great for my 9 birds Light and easy to move, at least until I added the heavier fence. Cons: Would like to order without the chicken wire (save some money on wire I won't use), as noted by many, it is effective for keeping chickens in, but a motivated predator can go through it. I used my own fence wire. I am concerned how it will hold up during the winter with storms. Time will tell. The pipe is somewhat weak, it won't take much abuse from weather. For the cost, it is what it is. The flat part is an issue with the tarp as it catches water, I put a 2x4 under it so it would shed water better. I expected this and made a plan to help, so for me it is not a surprise or a problem. I would buy it again for this purpose, but again I would use my own wire. ... show more

  • Great product!
Pattern Name: 1" Dia Flat Roof Size: 299.2"L x 110.2"W x 76.8"H
I didn't buy this for chickens, I bought it to keep squirrels out of my garden. I had purchased a 10' x 6' PawHut metal chicken coop in 2021 for a herb garden and it's held up well. This year I purchased the 25' x 10' and butted them together, so I have entry at either end of coop. I purchased both from the same seller aosom direct and both times the items were delivered to my house in short order. They're fairly easy to put together, but I would strongly suggest getting help with attaching the chicken wire & using heavy duty zip ties. If I were to order again I would have opted for the 1.25" frame diameter instead of the 1". It came with (2) shades and I attached them, but when it rained they did "bow down" and I had to push the wire up to empty the rain water. My garden is flourishing and I'm happy bought them. ... show more
