  • Very cute and functional structure
Color: Red
This was the perfect fit for two chickens. It was easy to put together. The instructions are not detailed but if you follow the pictures and are good with tools you will be able to figure it out.

  • Nice but not truly robust
Color: Red
A cute coop with nice nesting boxes... however the quality of the wood is not as high as I would have hoped. The latches all don't fit right and rattle around in their metal casings. But, that said, it's working for us and the chickens are enjoying it.

  • Very happy i bought the coop ☺
Color: Red
Good quality and easy to assemble. The bottom frame of coop house had a little damage . Probably was cracked during transport. Fortunately I was able to fix it. All together i am satisfied with purchase. The chicken coop is solid and looks great. 👌 🐔 🏠

  • Waste of money
Color: Red
Total waste of money. Super cute in the picture but is horrible for assembly and falls apart extremely easily. The materials are very cheap. I don’t recommend this to anyone.

  • Way smaller than it looks...
Color: Red
I'm not sure what chickens are in the picture but they aren't normal ones. I have silkies and I can't even fit 3 in there comfortably. I had to put it inside my chicken run and leave the doors open to give them more room to move. They advertise it as being 63 inches but they are including the nest box in this width. The bottom is absolutely nowhere near that width. Another issue is it is definitely not sturdy. It's not terrible for a couple chickens to nest in but if you are looking for something they can stay in full time, this is NOT it. ... show more

  • Very Small Chicken Coop
Color: Red
I purchased this coop and quickly realized that it is better suited for small variety chickens. As you can see in the pictures I had 4 hens: Rhode Island Red, Buff Orpington, Speckled Sussex and Golden Comet. As previously mentioned, we had to act quick and improvise due to the cramped space. We decided to move our chicken coop inside one of our vacant horse stalls so they can have more room. We leave the doors open on the coop so they can roost inside (or on top as pictured) and lay eggs in the nesting box. Unfortunately, before the move into the horse stall we didn’t noticed that pecking had started in the small coop which quickly escalated resulting in the passing of our Rhode Island Red yesterday. That event obviously wasn’t caused by the coop, but it’s important for potential consumers of this coop to understand that adequate space for chickens is of upmost importance and I highly encourage others to attach a run of some sort because the run space below the coop is simply inadequate unless the chickens are let out every morning. Only happy hens lay eggs and happy hens like to stretch their wings and legs! Overall the coop was easy to assemble but isn’t very sturdy. We were missing several screws for the door latches (each latch was missing a screw or two) thankfully we had some similar to the same size that we used. For the time being, we’ll continue using this coop until we can turn the vacant horse stall into a hen’s paradise. ... show more

  • Very sturdy once put together😊
Color: Red
Ordered this Thursday afternoon ... it was in my driveway Friday morning🤤 Very sturdy cute little house once you get it put together! It was the biggest one I could find with a house Dimensions over 30 in, I am using this as a potty house for my cats, I plan to put a cat door under my stairwell in my kitchen to this chicken run outside. It was fairly easy to put together, however a lot of the drill holes were way too big so we had to re-drill a lot of holes and because these are my "babies" I added several extra screws. VERY HAPPY!😸 ... show more

  • Good base but needs adjustments
Color: Red
The roosting bar in this coop must be replaced, especially if in a cold-climate area. Replace with a 2x4 so that the chickens can cover their feet with their bodies. The narrow, sharp-edge roosting bar that comes with this coop will be uncomfortable for chickens are requires that their toes reach around the small bar and be exposed to the cold. You need to have at least 8 inches of roosting bar for each bird so you might need to run two bars across -- I did mine in a T shape. You'll need to add additional ventilation holes on the side across from the window to provide cross flow and allow moisture to escape. These should be high in the peak to avoid drafts blowing right on to the chickens. Cover the new holes with chicken wire to keep predators out. You'll need to replace the hardware with mechanisms that can be locked to avoid predators -- like raccoons -- from opening it up. If you are going to use this coop in cold-climates, you are going to need to add insulation panels to the outside. Chickens will eat styrofoam -- it can kill them so make sure that any exposed styrofoam insulation is covered with plywood or burlap or duct tape or something like that. Four standard-sized chickens is the absolute max for this coop, and only if you allow them access to a run too.
