I screwed two 8" pieces of wood one at each end; crosswise giving it stablizing feet. chickens tend to use their toes trying to tip contents over. I'd recommend use a small drill bit first a pilot hole and a sharp 1" wood screw or 3/4" pending wood size. I only use this for dry foid allowing me this modification. So far so good!! ... show more
