The product does a good job of blocking bugs, unwanted "guests" and heavy wind, allowing the cats to come and go. I do wish the door was a bit better sealed (as I probably won't be able to use it in the winter) and it's only a single pane of glass. (not horrible, but could be better.) I also wish the metal edges wrapped around the window frame edges, instead of just butting up against it... as this would provide a bit more air leak protection (wasted AC or Heat.) It could probably stand to have a sliding "lock/block" (for lack of better terms), as getting the cover off pretty much requires a tool. (it's tight and hard to remove - but necessary at night, less you take it out every day.) Otherwise, during warm days, it's fine. I won't likely use it in the winter, too much heat loss. I'm likely wasting a fair bit of cool air to leakage too, in the summer, (sadly.) ... show more

The product seems good quality and well made. Once I got it in it looks great and will see how it holds up. Warning there are absolutely no instructions and it doesn’t seem to even come with the parts you need to install in slightly larger windows. Luckily I had some long machine screws and nuts on hand to set the top panel to the right height. It’s a little uneven though and nothing seemed to fix that unless it was flush with the bottom part which would be too small for the window. Would recommend some foam insulation tape around the sides too which im glad I had on hand as well. Would have been much more frustrated messing with it to get it in and needing to run to the store half way through, so get the parts before you begin the install. ... show more

Very sturdy and well-madel, however not adjustable height aside from 2 metal plates to remove or keep. An excellent cat door for a window, just watch your measurements closely. The "adjustable height" was an "or" not a sliding scale measurement for height.

The door itself is sturdy and fit well. The bottom was bent in on the bottom and if I wasn't able to bend back it wouldn't have fit. I never heard back from seller, which was unfortunate and automatically will not see me doing business with them again. My senior cat took to the flap very well.
