I bought this grey 27 1/2" Paselec GS9 750 peak watt motor ebike a year ago. It is still a joy to get on it and take a ride, and it is in GREAT shape. No power loss at all, still rides just as smooth and quick as it did when it was brand new. It regularly goes 29 mph on a flat road and I don't even have to really try. The electric assistance is a great help. Rugged also, I mean I don't take care of it like I should, jumped a few curbs fer sure, even wiped out a couple of times but I haven't damaged this ebike at all. The dual shocks on the front and back give it a smooth gliding feel like a Cadillac might have. On powered assist the battery lasts indefinitely coz you can recharge the battery by turning the assist level to zero and pedalling it in first gear. Quick, easy power to climb formerly bicycle prohibitive hills with ease and class. If I have one complaint it's that it's a few ounces heavier than I thought it was gonna be, which is really just a testament to its sturdiness. 10/10, I'm ridiculously happy with this purchase! ... show more

Three years ago I bought a Paselec GS-9 and after about three years and 1300 miles the bike motor started cutting out after 20-30 minutes of riding. I contacted customer service via email and together we troubleshooted the problem determining it was a faulty controller. The new controller they received from the factory was slightly larger than the old one but assured me it should work. With the help of a you tube video I was able to hook up the new controller, but due to its increased size I was not able to fit all the wires back into the battery/controller compartment. I was able to secure the excess wires with electrical tape. If the tape doesn't hold up I will switch to tie wraps. The bike motor works fine now and that is the important thing as far as I'm concerned. ... show more

Tires are of poor quality. When bike was delivered front tire was flat and had to be repaired. I ordered 2 new inner tube's after one ride I had 2 flat tires. Very dis appointed in the quality of the tires on this bike. I will have spend alot of time fixing and repairing the flats. Will more than likely replace tires that are of better quality and dependability. Put better tire on your bikes. ... show more

This is my 4th ebike so I I know ebikes. I received the Paselec Saturday and rode it 50 miles today. Mostly in level 2, some level one and a little level 3. 90% in pedal assist mode. I live in a very hilly part of S. California. I weigh 180lbs and it was quite windy. I ended up with about 25 to 30% of the battery power left which was really great for a bike with a 500 watt motor. It took longer to tear down the box than it did to put the bike together. This bike comes with a very comfortable saddle, excellent brakes, etc. I feel this bike is a steal based on the components and fit and finish. It's a comfortable bike with plenty of power. This will be my first negative feedback on all my purchases but this has been giving me so much headache that leaves me no option. Since I purchased it a few months ago, I have only ridden less than 200 miles but replaced the rear tire tube 5 times, and now the derailleur hanger has broken (!). To make things worse, this hanger is custom-made or something that I cannot find. I contacted customer service but have not heard back. Not sure what options I have now. ... show more
