I replaced my old shredder with this one. A difference like night and day. This new one purrs like a kitten. It's so quiet you barely hear it at all. Depending on the thickness of paper, you have to watch you don't jam it. Best paper shredder for home use. I would recommend it.

It does a great job. And it is a terrific size. Big enough to shred quite a few papers before emptying but small enough to leave set up in my den. I don't procrastinate on shredding papers anymore. The handle is a big plus.

    • When you pick it up by the handle it does not lock on to move to a different place in the room
Need to lock with the base, you have to pick up the hold thing to move it
