I bought this because it is so much different than most other fire pits. It actually looks AWESOME on the patio. I'm a very mechanically inclined person so assembly was no problem for me. It took me about 10-15 minutes to unpack everything and 45 minutes to completely assemble. Now because this is a "China Special", I used LocTite thread locker on every screw and nut while assembling this to make absolutely sure nothing comes loose over time. I haven't used it yet, but I have sent pics, the same ones that are attached here, to multiple friends who knew I bought it and they are excited to come over and chill around the fire pit at night with me. I am very much looking forward to chilling by the fire with smooth jazz playing and just watch the flames dance. I am VERY Pleased with my purchase and the final product.

A beautiful fire pit, but it was very difficult to get everything straight so that the doors would open and close easily. Took quite a bit to get it to work. It was a auction item for a charity, and it was very well received.

The fireplace itself is beautiful; our problem is with the presentation. We have a small deck outside our back screened porch, and wanted to use this on chilly evenings. The picture on the ad is of a fireplace on a wooden deck (even a fabric rug). We ordered, received and were ready to put the thing together, and imagine our surprise to learn this is not to be used on a wooden deck! False advertising!

Very nice build quality for the price of this fireplace. It is made from what feels like a 22 gauge .6mm steel, maybe thicker. So it is isn’t super strong but certainly strong enough to be moved around and stand strong. It was fairly easy to assemble taking about 40 minutes, needing an extra 10 minutes due to holes not lining up correctly. Overall weight is pretty decent and can be moved by the average male adult with little to moderate effort. The unit is built well enough to withstand being moved around but won’t withstand too much handling.
