I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with this product. It arrived three days late in a pretty beat down box - so much so, that one of the legs for the stand was sticking out of it. I was relieved to see that after the rough and negligent shipping method, that the product itself was safe and not at all bent. All the pieces described somehow managed to stay in the box, too, which was nice, I guess. The assembly process only took about 5-10 minutes. I didn't receive an instruction manual, but it all seemed pretty self explanatory. One of my biggest complaints, however, has to be the rust I noticed setting in one of the pipes holding the stand. I was not very happy about that, but I was not about to send the product back; it looked absolutely stunning once put together. All in all, it serves its purpose. Very easy assembly, no instructions. Light weight, with carrying case and separate case for the canvas. Super comfortable. Canvas had small stain on it, doesn't effect functionality. Good deal for under $100!

I am going to return this item and then reorder it, hopefully the second one will not be defective. The bars were not bent correctly so that it created an approximate 45 degree angle. Had I utilized this the angle of the bars would have had me sitting a foot off the ground. The hardware was useless. Bought this for my wife and when I put it together one of the screw holes on the bottom was to big for the bolt that goes in it so now I'm worried it will not be very sturdy. I guess ill keep it and just get bolt big enough but it's an inconvenience

I was unsure of purchasing this hammock since it did not have any reviews, but I’m glad I took the chance. For the price point it’s a good hammock. It did not come with assembly directions, but it wasn’t difficult to figure it out. The base is not too heavy therefore not too steady, but it’s sturdy enough. I can’t comment on the quality of the product as I wasn’t able to completely assemble. One end of the crossbar came in an oval shape. Connecting base pieces were all round. Asked for a replacement crossbar but it wasn’t available due to inventory. Had to rerun the entire thing.
