Our son loves his clock!

    • It's a glorified night light
I got this for my son (6) for Christmas and he was excited when he opened it. He loves Minecraft, really wanted a clock in his room, and shares a room with his sibling who is afraid of the dar, so this product seemed to cover all the bases here. Added bonus, it's an alarm clock and he can start getting up on his own. My first disappointment was how light and cheap it felt. It's literally a light and tiny chip board inside a big box. But I set the clock and showed the kids how to turn on the night light, and we're off to the races! It was Christmas break, so I didn't worry about the rest too much. The second disappointment was any time the power cord got dislodged from the wall (USB that you had to plug in with your own power brick, does not come with one), everything was reset. Even with this being plugged into a wall on a sheltered side of the room, this happened a LOT with a (6) and (3) year old. There is no spot to insert batteries as backup power if this happens. Two days before school starts I set the alarm on the clock and get ready to show my son how to turn off the alarm when he gets up to it in the morning. As I'm showing him, the clock and the alarm completely resets (still on and plugged in). I reprogram this thing no less than 3 times (being careful not to jar it at all) before I finally get it set and am able to show my son the button to turn off the alarm. Day before school (trial run), the alarm does not go off. The time has not spontaneously reset and the alarm icon (a little bell) is still showing indicating the alarm is set. I kept the alarm on just out of curiosity; today is Jan 11th and the alarm has still never gone off. This ended up being a disappointing $22 night light, the only reliable feature of this product. ... show more

My son love it

    • Keeps time, but we're living in 12/37/2026
As others have said, this clock is very cheaply made. Upon opening it, plugging it in, and turning on the light, there are several "pixels" of light that come through the box that are like tiny holes in the shell itself. It is easy to operate if you look over the tiny sheet of instructions. The buttons are set up like a game controller, the directional buttons turning the light on/off and used for setting the time, date, and alarm. I debated sending this back before showing it to my son, but ultimately decided that, for what he's going to use it for, it'll be fine. He's had it set up for a few days now, and it's gone from December to January, but the date on the alarm clock is listed as 12/37. I have no idea how many days this clock will count up to. I'm anticipating going from December to March, before it reads January--again, something that is not critical to my almost 8-year-old, but overall, I would not purchase this clock again. ... show more

    • It's a clock.
Review Image by Brenda
Good clock. A bit disappointed it doesn't charge so it won't shut off during power outages. Or be carried around. Daughter was disappointed she couldn't make it play music whenever she wanted. It only plays music as the alarm. Honestly, if a device these days comes with a removable cable (Micro USB for this one) it should be chargeable, not wall dedicated. Especially since it didn't come with the USB wall converter. So I had to steal one from another device. Otherwise does as it says. Light can turn on and off with the D pad shaped button on top. The two square buttons to the side are supposed to be A B buttons that control the clock and alarm. But unmarked, you only learn that from the instruction manual. The display screen is a little weird that in a well lit room all the lines reflect making it hard to read. No setting for adjusting alarm volume either. Probably better for an older child or adult clock than a toddler or younger child. ... show more

    • Cute
I bought this as a gift to my 12 yo grandson. He loves it. The only thing I can complain about is the settings. The instructions were less than clear.

    • Not worth the money
Cheaply made. Tiny screen that is difficult to read in really bright or really low light. Buttons do not have any writing on them to know what is what (need to use the diagram and memorize). No battery back up, and the time resets if it goes without power. Adapter/plug not included (only the cord w/ USB end). All-in-all, would have expected to pay under $10 for this. Did not expect to have to buy a brick to plug it in. Not worth the money at all. ... show more
