This is the update. Original review is below. After putting maybe 25 miles (all inside) on the scooter, it developed a squeak when turning. It took awhile to get ahold of the company (and I was really upset about that when I wrote the original review), but once I did they were really responsive! Lynn and her team sent me a video on how to easily disassemble and reassemble the steering. I did that, added a bit of grease, and it's back to working perfectly. The scooter itself is a nice little machine, but Lynn and her people's service has been exemplary. It's nice to know that I've found a company that actually provides useful service, not just lip service, for their product. (Original 3 star review) This is a good little scooter. Delivery was fast, assembly was easy. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone over 5' 8" because of the small foot placement area. The electronics work well, the voice used for the backup alert and so on is loud enough and easily understandable. The speed is very adequate and so is the climbing ability. My father-in-law uses it in his assisted living facility and has no trouble navigating around inside or outside of the building. He's 235 pounds, 6 feet tall. The scooter is a little small for him but hauls him effortlessly. The seat turns and the scooter is easy for him to get on and off of, although with his height it's a little cramped. Lights and so on work well. BUT... It's now 7 months later and the steering has developed a loud squeak when turning either way. I've isolated the squeak to the bottom of the steering mechanism. I tried to contact the seller/manufacturer and haven't been able to reach them either directly or through Amazon. I may have to pull the entire steering mechanism apart to find out what's going on. I don't look forward to doing that at all, especially if the company knows what the problem is and how to fix it. So... if you buy one of these, do not expect support for it if a problem develops.

Not only is this a great scooter with so many features, but the support team for this brand is top notch. The scooter is easy to handle and take along, foldable and reliable. I had a problem with mine shutting down which was not the fault of the scooter. The support team was so helpful and quick to offer solutions. They even sent me the part it took to fix it. My son installed it and I’m back on the road! Great product and service too.

This scooter met all my needs. I wanted to be safe and also to be able to use the scooter on dirt or gravel paths/trails. This scooter runs smoothly on paved paths and I was able to use it on dirt and paved trails. It does go up hill up to 6-degrees (moderate inclines). My weight is about 100 pounds and 5 ft tall, so the motor was able to handle my weight and I can comfortably sit and maneuver the scooter. I am not an engineer but I assume that the weight and size of a person might affect the motor performance and battery usage. It is not noisy at all and the horn is not loud. It just helped me to alert others around me as needed. The computer voice that turns on when I reverse is very useful. I have tried only once around a 2-miles trail at Filoli state in Woodside. I did not try riding it on steep or uneven terrain (i.e. over tree roots). There were parts of the trail that had water erosion, and I rode over those areas at slow speed perfectly fine. The scooter automatically regulates speed when it goes down ramps. The size is perfect to travel around people and crowded places. It completely folds when we need to put it in our Outback. It is not very heavy, but lifting the folded scooter requires strength and stability. My husband found out that putting a strap in the back handle (there are two handles to roll the scooter once it is folded) he can lift it with the strap and slowly rolls it into the trunk. That way he does not strain his back muscles. The company answers telephone calls right away and a team member readily provides information about the scooter. For additional questions he transfers the message to supervisors and they respond within 12 to 24 hours. In my case they responded a question within less than 6 hours. Battery life: you can monitor your battery by looking at the lighted bars in the handlebar. At the end of a 2.5 miles trail I had used 2/6 bars. I had charged and carried with me the spare battery. I am satisfied with the scooter and with the Paiseec company. With the Paiseec S3 I was able to enjoy the outdoor life and beautiful California trails that I love.

So far I'm very happy with it sometimes it feels like the seat goes kind of back-and-forth Side to side maybe not as stable not sure but it goes pretty well and it goes up the hill pretty well like a slight incline up the sidewalk I just really liked the way they look so that's why I purchased and then the motor was a plus 4 me because it was brushless and I looked that up they seemed to be good and longer lasting supposedly I'm gonna find out and I will update this after I've actually taken it out more But it is nice because I can go a week with it on a charge Just pretty much take My service dog for a walk And it's perfect speed for him to follow I've had compliments just that it looks cool And at my age with a disability it's kinda cute I got the white and black I just like that I can put it right inside the front door and it's very light It's a little slow I wish it did like 7 or 8 miles but it is only for the sidewalk it's just it would be nice for just a couple miles more quicker

Excellent scooter! Very comfortable and sleek looking. We love that it has three different speeds. Top speed is a plus at 6 MPH. Another plus is air filled tires making for a smooth ride. No assembly really. Out of the box just lift seat and lock and same for the steering. Had a small issue with the rear tire and there excellent customer service team sent a new one right away. Great mobility scooter!
