My hubby is amazed how easy the tens pen is to use and gives him great relief. He didn't think it was able to give him relief for is pain, both shoulders. wrist - he doesn't need to wear the wrist brace all the time. For the value you get for the cost, can't be beat. He can throw dice for our little games, or get cards set in the shuffler without pain. I cannot use it as I have a pacemaker so if you aren't sure due to medical issues I would suggest check with your doctor (I am not giving medical advice). So far we find that it works the same as today as the day he purchased it.

I find that the process is painful. I guess the point is -- is the pain of the treatment less than the pain you are trying to treat. So far I have not been able to maintain the treatment for the 30 seconds that is suggested. I do think it helps, but I was expecting the kind of tingle you get from using a TENS unit. Maybe it will get easier with time.

I already reviewed the back pain item, including comments on the pen. I bought both items as my mother had let me use her pen and it successfully banished any pain. I haven't used these yet, as by the time the items had arrived, the pain was gone, but it's recurring so I'll no doubt have occasion to use them ! ( it's an age thing ! )

Bought the Paingone Plus to help with my shoulder pain. It does exactly as advertised as I can target the specific muscles and areas that are causing me issues. I was very surprised at how powerful it is and I can even use it on my piriformis. I have a Tens unit with the multiple sticky pads that I had been using but this is so much quicker and easier (not to mention cleaner). Its so great to just be able to grab it and do a little therapy as opposed to a big drawn out process. I would definitely recommend it!
