I'm very impressed with how well this camera works with iPhone. You plug it in, and once you have the app installed it auto launches the app and does an excellent job at the thermal imagery. You can easily see wall studs, roof trusses, and from the outside of the house you can even tell, through the siding, where the most heat leakage was. I found that the space in the floor joists between floors was a big source of heat loss. I'm almost positive they aren't insulated. Just amazing what you find when you have one of these.

This is a great upgrade from my previous TIC, which was a Klein TI220. The higher resolution and most importantly the ability to adjust the focus of the lens make this much better. The phone/tablet App is also a big step up from the Klein. I installed it on a Pixel 8 Pro and an iPad Air 5th gen. The functionality is superb. I probably need to 3D print a tripod mount to make full use of all those point/line/rectangle/circle measurement options, but that is for another day. Going by my IR thermometer and other gadgets at my disposal, the accuracy is also good. Assuming the usual +/- 2°C caused by emissivity, this is pretty good. Last but not least the image and video functions allows to add a date×tamp and they don't force a brand name watermark onto it. Very much appreciated.

Build quality and frame rate were grate. App worked well. Having to use a manual focus lens was a deal breaker. It’s 2025 I need this to just work like a regular camera.

I bought this in order to look for bad electrical connections and weather drafts in my motor home, but as it turned out, it saved my life. I got a pain in my left knee, which cut back my exercise. The knee swelled up badly, and a bout of breathlessness a dizziness was alarming enough to see my doctor. I took thermal and regular images of my legs. She immediately sent me to the hospital for sonography, and the technician stopped the sonograph to walk me over to the ER. I underwent emergency surgery for a blood clot that ran from my ankle to my hip. I had small bits of clot in my lungs and heart, leading to the dizziness and breathlessness. The thermal imaging was important, as it clearly showed no circulation in a key vein in my leg. I kept my leg, and I am recovering. This camera had adequate focusing for medical diagnosis, was easy to set up, and to use. I'm impressed.

I am a professional home inspector. Be warned im so amped about this product its gonna sound infomercially. Former FLIR C5 & FLIR one pro owner…… and im never going back again. This P3 Pro has better thermal pixels, wider thermal range, more focus options, better thermal sensitivity, better diagnostics menu options, AND ITS CHEAPER?!!!! Honestly, only thing FLIR has for me is the rugged casing and the “look”. You can tell by the gold trim this is clearly for PCB inspections. STILL its just better! At first MSX feature from flir came in handy when the temperature differentials were non existent between components but I just use the transparency overlay now on the P3. I considered the Thor but the less stuff I have to charge the better. Love the P3 Pro
