This was so close to a 5 stars for me. I'm actually really enjoying using it and am excited to have it as my every day carry for work since it'll force me to carry a lot less. The bag is sleek, looks VERY nice and modern but it does feel a bit small in a lot of ways. Feels small on my back and feels small in space. Starting with the good; • The bag has two USB ports for connecting portable chargers. I haven't tested to see if the ports are separately wired, but inside the bag there are two cables so I'll assume that it is. The cables are hidden inside of a zipper pocket when not in used, but unfortunately if they're in use, it's hard to keep them hidden or out of the way. • The bag has a zipper lock, and with that, the zippers feel like good quality plus they have a great opening space. You can ALMOST Fully unzip the bag to have it open up 90 degrees, but instead the zippers stop a few centimeters away from the base which still gives you plenty of space to properly organize your bag. The lock works very well and feels premium just like the zippers. • Bag has two slots for laptops, and both slots have leather stitching at the seams. Meaning that your laptop will most likely not be scratched up by the seams/edges of these slots, and it also gives the bag a nice premium touch and look. I do wish these slots had a way to close them just as an extra layer of protection and a way to keep the laptops still when I toss the bag in the car. Now for the bad that dropped this to 4 stars for me: • As mentioned before, there's 2 cables that can be hidden when not in used... But there's no slot to place your power bank, meaning you either leave it hanging in the bag, or you place it in the ONLY pocket you have that's not for your laptop, and still floats around in there. • The bag doesn't have any external storage besides for a small zippered slot that's on the back of the bag. I tried placing a thin powerbank in this slot and it works, but you can feel whatever is in this pocket straight on your back. For wallets/documents though this is a perfect slot (I use it for my wallet now). • There's no real storage inside the bag either. You have 1 large pocket, the two laptop slots and a single extra big flapped pocket that works, but doesn't allow much separation. Now that's a lot of negatives, but as I mentioned, this will force me to think about what my every day carry items are. I don't own two laptops so one pocket will be for slim power banks and the rest will be history.

This backpack has a sleek and clean design that makes it feel efficient to use. I like that it’s constructed in a way that makes it inclined to keep it’s seemingly hard-shell shape, but is also soft enough to be compressed to fit into a tight space if necessary. I also like that the texture is not only water repellant, but also gives it a nice, quality look that is both plain enough to match casual attire and sharp enough to compliment formal wear. I also like that with the exception of the small, zipper pocket hidden near the back surface during wear, all of the storage is internal and kept safe with the one locking zipper. This allows you to protect your main contents while still providing access to small last-second items, or frequent use items like your ID, phone, etc. Another nice thing about the main external zipper is that it wraps all the way around 3 edges of the backpack allowing it to fully open like a clamshell. This allows you to quickly access as much of the contents as you wish to zip open to reveal, and makes it easy to add/remove my 16” laptop and 12” iPad, and the diagonal-edged pouches easily accommodate either or both. The built-in charging port with included cable is also a nice feature that makes it convenient to charge your phone, etc by keeping a portable power bank inside. It’s also nice that the cable branches to offer both USB-A and USB-C male connectors, and the interface on the outside of the backpack has female ports to accommodate USB-A and USB-C connections as well. A somewhat odd thing about this feature is that the onboard cable has its own zipped storage area but any power bank that you attach does not. Though there are ample pouches located close enough to the cable, this leaves your power bank somewhat floating around in the bag, unless you place it in one of the open pouches and take effort to keep the bag vertical. I’d feel better if the power bank could also stay securely zipped away, but it’s not that big of a concern. The more odd thing about the external female charging ports is that the USB-C port wants to only be an input and the USB-A is output only. I was under the impression that both ports would provide output but when I attach the built-in cable’s USB-C connector to my power bank and attach my iPad to the external USB-C port, my iPad begins charging the power bank, and if I attach my phone to the external USB-C port, my phone gives me an error message announcing that because the connected device draws too much current it cannot be used. The external ports vs included cable connections also do not cross, i.e. a USB-A internal connection is only recognized by the USB-A external port and the USB-C only speaks to USB-C. I suppose the intent is to allow you to attach a charger to the outside of the bag and charge your device while it’s stored inside, but I find it disappointing that I can’t use my cables that have USB-C male connections on both ends to charge devices outside the bag. I also find myself wishing that there were more zipping or otherwise locking internal pockets. As it is now, most of the bags contents are left to float around. All-in-all, it’s a very well-constructed backpack that has a quality feel, stylish appearance, is comfortable to wear and offers ample storage space, though not all of the available space is well restrained, and the onboard charging is less accommodating than expected.

Quick to the Point: *** Note: I have been using BANGE sling bags for over 10 years. This is my first backpack and it does not disappoint. * Material is some of the best on the market so you are covered for the real world * This model storage capacity is amazing to fit your Macbook Pro, books and so so much more. * Durability is of ZERO concern as the stitching is some of the best if not the best of most products on Amazon. * Zippers are solid and so far in over 10 years, never have had a failed one. This bag is no different. * No weather fears, it can handle heavy rain without any concerns of water getting in. Just don't go swimming with it... * The USB port is not my thing but my son loves to have his backup battery on the bag and connect his laptop, tablet and phone. * VERY very comfortable to wear * Excellent padding for your back and standard heat dissipation. I am a fan of BANGE, but will tell you straight if there is something wrong with this bag. This is a great back and so minimalistic design. Very aerodynamic for riding your bike too since it will not get air stuck in your back holding you back. Great value, workmanship and materials always make Bange bags exceptional. One of the few brands from china I actually think is original in their design and constantly experiment. So many terrible bags they have made but that is what makes the brand a good one. You get a very well thoughout original bag and not some copycat attempt. They are legit and the bags show that.
