The media could not be loaded. I bought this for the soul purpose of making my southern sweet tea which free up all my really higher end stainless cook set. It holds the perfect amount to fill a good picture without diluting it too much if at all. Usually tea pots stain and are horrible to keep looking clean but this one is easy peezy. The after affects of steeping tea can easily be removed with warm water and those same tea bags literally. No more scrubbing with brillo pads anymore to get all those rings an stains out. I imagine it is very similar to anything else you properly cook in it so in that field it gets 5 star's. Value for money, it is at a very affordable entry level price but I'd imagine it might just outshine some middle tier stainless pots. The lid is of some great quality and function. The handle is very stable and mounted strongly with no play, it stays cool to the touch, and the countour fits nicely in your hand. The material used is stainless steel as described and not a ton of layers like some of these others out there so it heats up pretty quickly and reacts well to temp adjustments. These are reasons I rate this portion at 5 stars as well The heat distribution on this pot is fantastic! As you get when looking for stainless pots & pans, that material distributes heat fantastic amd is well known for lasting through generations in families. This pot boils water in mere minutes! Sometimes it feels like only 2-3 mins and I'm ready to put the tea bags in so I don't even walk away from the pot. These are reasons I also gave this section 5 star's. In completion, we absolutely love cooking and love this pot. The above reasons and ratings I've stated is why I had to give this pot 5 star's in total in its entry level field. I won't ever regret buying this pot that is very affordable and if something did ever happen to it, I would gladly repurchase this very pot ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this saucepan. It’s heavy and appears to be very well made. The lid fits perfectly. The pan has a shiny surface rather than brushed like some stainless steel, and I really like it. High quality and very affordable. What’s not to like? UPDATE: I just used my new pot to soak black beans overnight and then made black bean soup. There was a small amount of staining on the interior from the black beans, but a sprinkle of Barkeeper's Friend and a sponge took it right off with no scratching. Baking soda might also work, but Barkeeper's Friend is always my go-to for stainless steel. ... show more

I spent 8 months struggling to get my new GE induction range to work correctly. I bought new cookware that was labeled "induction ready". (Don't believe it! If the bottom of the cookware is "patterned", chances are it will NOT work reliably with induction elements.) After 8 months, I had plenty of skillets that had solid steel bottoms and too many pots and pans that had waffle bottoms and only worked some of the time on some of the elements. I needed pots for making sauces, cooking vegetables, and boiling pasta. I finally tried these from P&P Chef with one eye on the Amazon free return policy. Now I've used them several times, and P&P CHEF PANS TRULY ARE INDUCTION READY! This cookware heats quickly and evenly. I've used four pans at a time, and there is no cutting out of the power or failure of the range due to inadequate cookware! What a relief! I think I'll buy more immediately so when my current set gets too worn out from constant use, I'll have replacements. These pans are inexpensive, but look lovely, feel solid in your hand (not light-weight and flimsy feeling) and do an excellent job of cooking. If they work on my new, overpriced, under supported GE range (30 email with the manufacturer to no avail), they will work on your induction range, I'm sure! ... show more

The one and two quart sauce pans are excellent quality and purchased after my purchase of the 4 quart pot because I liked it so much. People are all upset by the discoloration of the metal which actually is a result of hard water. Just wipe down the inside of the pans with a little water and vinegar on a cloth after washing. It will remove the minerals that adhere to the sides and bottom of the pan. Doesn't affect the use of the pan at all. Weight is nice and I like the glass lids so I can see into the pot and watch what is going on. ... show more

We were replacing a scratched nonstick 3-quart saucepan. From a few comments, I was afraid this would not be big enough. However, it is smaller in diameter but a little bit taller, and it works for all the same recipes. We have changed to all stainless pans. They are non-toxic, durable, and cook fast and evenly. They are easy to clean with occasionally a little soak. The top fits tightly, with a little hole to prevent boil-overs. It’s lighter in weight than the old one, too.
