1st off, it works fine. We've had our original OXO opener for probably 20+ years, the cutter was starting to dull, so we bought another OXO opener. See the picture for comparison. The opener on the right is the original and the left is the new one. The design is different so its hard to say if things are improved or otherwise. The cutting wheel and griper wheel look the same, while the pivot point is different. ... show more
