When I needed to replace our 6 qt. pot due to years of using one with a scratched bottom, when I saw the Oxo, it was immediately decided. I love Oxo products and any time that I can put another Oxo item in my kitchen, our lives become so much easier. This pot is no exception. It's so easy to clean, it's at a good price point being 33% off AND the larger bottom allows for more even heat distribution. I am confident that I will never have to replace this pot. The lid is excellent as it can be used to drain liquids and I love that it is glass so I can see the status of whatever we are cooking. The only stockpot that had all the features I was looking for. Stay cool handles and lid handle, a good weight without being too heavy, just the right height to stir foods without spilling over the edge. I really love this pot so far. Tine will tell if the non-stick lasts I suppose. Highly recommend. I wouldn't ever use metal utensils though. ... show more

Great size for pasta. Loved the idea of not needing a colander to drain. It works pretty well, however, a colander is still a lot faster and you have to hold this much longer. The silicon insulation is good, but not enough to hold for extended time. Update: Note: CAUSED BY USER ERROR! We keep this pot on top of the fridge. Friend knocked it off, bounced off her face and hit the wood floors. Lid no longer seats/sits well. Pot still boils water properly. This is NOT an issue with the pot, just a note that though it’s not thin, I don’t feel it’s as thick as others, or maybe I didn’t think it would deform that “easily”? Yeah, this wasn’t normal wear and tear. *Friend is fine. ... show more
