I've had this vacuum system for 3 years. I love the power and the convenience. The connection for the unit and the hose has come out of the unit exposing the 2 little wires. I have to push it back into place every time I use it. It looks like it needs to be glued in place, but I don't have a clue what would hold it against that vacuum when I want to disconnect the hose. I've written to the company, but have never gotten a reply.

I purchased the vacuum, the 15 feet extension hose on Amazon, the main hose (50 ft), and the kit directly from the manufacturer. The reason I bought this model and the 65 feet hose is because I am planning to install the vacuum inside my garage. So the 65 feet is needed to reach the farthest room upstairs. When all the parts arrived I began installing the vacuum. It wasn’t difficult but I was a bit confused while installing the hose, because the hose can be rotated even after getting plugged in. I was only confident in plugging it in after figuring out the relationship between the hose and the two metal pins on the plug. After trying out the vacuum a few times, I learned that while the vacuum turns on, it could only be turned off by being unplugged. So I contacted the manufacturer the next day (it says on the instructions to contact the manufacturers before returning). Their customer services was very good and said maybe a wire wasn’t connected properly, leading to the PC board not working which is very easy to fix. Then they said they will mail a new one to me and I can change it myself. I agreed though a little suspicious. I received the PC board a week after and took apart the vacuum and PC board from instructions and found that a nature wire wasn’t connected to the PC board. After comparing the old and new PC boards, I found out that there were two white wires attached to the old PC board that needed to be cut.The two white wires were so short you have to cut it very close to the old PC board. Attaching the wires to new PC board was easy but it was difficult securing it because the new PC board has a thicker screw. So I took an electric screw driver and drilled the hole bigger and successfully installed the PC board. Then I tested the vacuum and thought it was pretty good, the power is strong enough. In conclusion, this product is simply built and is easily installable and repairable. The motor has enough power to vacuum but it’d be nice if the hose plug had a lock. When using the vacuum, the motor gets really hot, I’m not sure if that damages the product or not. Lastly, the 65 feet hose gets tangled together when developed and collapsed,so some patience is needed.

I have been wanting a whole house vacuum for years but didn’t want to deal with installing the piping. Purchased this unit along with the 50 ft, high voltage hose and power head kit. The vacuum works great! It was easy to Install in a centrally located hall closet and can reach the entire house. I did use a mounting board as recommended in the instructions book although their marketing pics show it installed directly into the dry wall. I love the fact it has a collection bag that is huge and disposable. We have heavily shedding pets and now there is no more clogged vacuum and nasty disgusting dust container that I would have to empty 10 times with my old upright ‘pet’ vacuum. It’s quiet too compared to my old upright. Highly recommend this unit.
