I had been eyeing a higher end Dutch Oven for ages, but honestly couldn't bring myself to pay that price. I searched around and found this beautiful Dutch oven at a reasonable price, so I figured I would give it a try- and wow, I'm so glad I did! This thing is heavy duty, gorgeous, and works great. I've made everything from sourdough bread to pot roast in it and it performs beautifully every time. The enamel coating makes for easy cleaning (and no seasoning like raw cast iron), and it holds heat really well. It looks beautiful sitting on my stove too-which is a bonus! It might be one of my favorite kitchen purchases this year!

I originally had my heart set on a Le Creuset, but let’s be real the price is steep. I decided to give this Overmont Dutch oven a try instead, and I’m so glad I did! It’s stunning on the stove, has a nice weight to it, and cooks beautifully. I’ve made soups, stews, and even baked bread in it everything turns out evenly cooked and full of flavor. The enamel coating is easy to clean, and it looks way more expensive than it is. The gold knob adds a touch of elegance too. If you want that classic Dutch oven look and performance without the luxury price tag, this is the one. Highly recommend!

07/20/2025 Updated Review: I returned this for a refund through Amazon, however I was contacted by the company directly as well. They asked if they could send me a brand new dutch oven (completely free!), and still allow me to keep my refund, due to the fact that they wanted me to be a satisfied customer. Wow! I received the new one today, and it was in PRISTINE condition. It was boxed totally different than the first; very well packed in an original Overmont box, the lid had its own box, and it came with some other items that were not included in the first box. With that being said, I have to wonder if I was actually sent a dutch oven that someone else had previously returned to Amazon the first time. This new one (that looks like it was sent directly from Louisiana and not Amazon) was perfect and beautiful! I have to give Kudos to the company for doing this; as a customer, it makes all the difference to our future purchases, and I will say that I would do business with Overmont again in the future. I am updating my review to 5 stars, because they really went over and beyond to make sure their customer was taken care of. If anything changes, I'll come back to update this review again. Original Review: So disappointed when I opened this today. I had purchased it for baking my sourdough breads in, but unfortunately it had chips in the porcelain, both inside and out. The lid was very bad, all the way around, and there were chips on the inside as well. I probably could have lived with the lid chips on the outside, but will not be using a pot that is chipped on the inside from the get-go. Doesn't scream quality item to me. I will be returning this. Very sad! :(

I’ve had this for a while now and I’ve really enjoyed cooking with it. I primarily use it for cooking and simmering homemade pasta sauce and it has been extremely durable. I’ve received a number of complements on its vivid finish and I felt like it was extremely well priced compared to other similar products. Additionally, its heavy weight construction gives it excellent heat distribution even with my less than ideal stovetop.

I just received this Overmont Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven - 4.5QT Pot with Lid (pumpkin color). It was well packaged, with substantial packing material to protect it. Upon inspection, I found no chips, pinholes or any other defects in the enamel in either pot or lid. It also came with a host of goodies as described in the listing - recipe book, care instructions, magic sponge, silicone coaster and two small decorated pot holders. I immediately cooked a one pot meal, and this dutch oven did a grand job of cooking it. Clean up was a breeze, as everything easily wiped off, even the dried on bits. I didn't notice any residual baking stains on it, and it looks as clean as it did when I took it out of the package. So far I'm thrilled with this Overmont Dutch Oven. Great price, quality and looks.

Cooking is my therapy. It relaxes and centers me. I never purchased a dutch oven because I didn't understand exactly how different it is from a traditional pot. THIS IS A GAME-CHANGER!!
