I had been eyeing a higher end Dutch Oven for ages, but honestly couldn't bring myself to pay that price. I searched around and found this beautiful Dutch oven at a reasonable price, so I figured I would give it a try- and wow, I'm so glad I did! This thing is heavy duty, gorgeous, and works great. I've made everything from sourdough bread to pot roast in it and it performs beautifully every time. The enamel coating makes for easy cleaning (and no seasoning like raw cast iron), and it holds heat really well. It looks beautiful sitting on my stove too-which is a bonus! It might be one of my favorite kitchen purchases this year!

The media could not be loaded. This is gorgeous piece of cookware. It’s heavy and very good quality. It also comes with “extras” including the lid gripper, recipe book and oven mitts. The diameter is 10” and the height is 5” in case you need that for storing . I would highly recommend this product!

I originally had my heart set on a Le Creuset, but let’s be real the price is steep. I decided to give this Overmont Dutch oven a try instead, and I’m so glad I did! It’s stunning on the stove, has a nice weight to it, and cooks beautifully. I’ve made soups, stews, and even baked bread in it everything turns out evenly cooked and full of flavor. The enamel coating is easy to clean, and it looks way more expensive than it is. The gold knob adds a touch of elegance too. If you want that classic Dutch oven look and performance without the luxury price tag, this is the one. Highly recommend!

I just received this Overmont Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven - 4.5QT Pot with Lid (pumpkin color). It was well packaged, with substantial packing material to protect it. Upon inspection, I found no chips, pinholes or any other defects in the enamel in either pot or lid. It also came with a host of goodies as described in the listing - recipe book, care instructions, magic sponge, silicone coaster and two small decorated pot holders. I immediately cooked a one pot meal, and this dutch oven did a grand job of cooking it. Clean up was a breeze, as everything easily wiped off, even the dried on bits. I didn't notice any residual baking stains on it, and it looks as clean as it did when I took it out of the package. So far I'm thrilled with this Overmont Dutch Oven. Great price, quality and looks.

I was drawn to this for its reasonable price and the number of positive reviews it has received. More and more I rely on reviews to help me make a decision about a product. I bought this as a gift for a friend who had destroyed her favorite cooking pot (long story). She said it was the perfect size for her and that it cooks evenly. She appreciated the thickness of the pot and it's overall quality. It is a bit heavy, but that is normal for an enameled pot. Overall she is very pleased. I actually inspected the pot before I gave it to her and I was very impressed on how well it is made. If I was in the market for a dutch oven myself, I would get one of these.
