I know it is sturdy because my robot vacuum got tangled on the cord and pulled it about 5 feet across the floor and turned it 180 degrees. This Item was easy to assemble and does what it is supposed to do. The only Issue for me was that the enclosed Light Bulb was too dim. I installed a 100 Watt LED Light Bulb and that increased the brightness to a Level that I was happy with. Since the Bulb Socket is not in a enclosed Fixture and the actual Power consumed is very small because it is a LED Bulb. it is safe to use. I realize that for some People the enclosed Bulb is ok, but for me it was too dim. ... show more

My expectations weren't super high based on the price. How wrong was I!! This lamp is amazing. It not only looks beautiful, it's sturdy and they have really thought of every detail. The (magnetic) remote has lots of presets, the shade is gorgeous and wooden frame feels and looks great. The built in charger is definitely a bonus. They also include lots of additional hardware and a tool, so putting it together is a breeze. Love everything about this lamp! (And I usually don't get enthusiastic about lamps!) ... show more

These lamps were super easy to put together. You're not going to have any issues at all. The instructions are clear. I believe it took me 30 minutes per lamp. The only thing negative I honestly have to say is the color wasn't exactly as pictured. Not a big deal.
