I opened the box as this is only September so there's no tree to decorate yet I'm trying to get my things early but I opened them up and plugged them up to make sure they worked the only thing is that they are very tiny but I have a feeling that they're going to be extraordinarily beautiful on my tree you can adjust the brightness. I'm very excited and can hardly wait to decorate my tree I have been wanting these lights like this for a long time and with a new tree and a new home I have a feeling it's going to be extraordinary I would buy these again without even putting them on my tree just beware that they are smaller than the normal lights that you decorate the tree or the tree comes with but I think that this is the future of the lights and they are better than anything that I have saw that is regular size as far as brightness clarity they're just very well made they're just a lot smaller but it's not smaller in quality or brightness I don't think you could go wrong and buying these lights

I have now completely converted my incandescent Christmas lights over to LED. There are a lot of LED lights available, some great like this one, some pretty awful. Several of the things I really like about this set are... -The lights are very steady. No 60 Hz blinking when you look at them out of the corner of your eyes. -The colors are quite natural and warm. No blue tint. I hung some of these along with incandescents last year, and you couldn't tell them apart when lit at night. -The lights are about 4 inches apart. Perfect for me. -They remember your last setting, even when you cycle the power through a timer. I'm not a big fan of blinking Christmas lights, and, once I set these to steady on, they stay that way, even the next year when I put them back up. -Uses a tiny fraction of the power my old incandescents did. For my fairly simple outdoor display, I can't tell the difference in my electric bill. I sure could with my old lights. These have black wire rather than green. I thought that would be a problem, especially against my green house. It's not. I can't tell which wires are black and which are green from my driveway. You can not plug these light strings end-to-end. Every LED string I have is that way, no matter who made it. Seems to be the current standard. They are so long it doesn't end up making a difference. A little planning ahead and the problem goes away.
