I’ve been using Meross smart switches for a while now and couldn’t be happier with how well they perform. I originally purchased two switches, both of which worked perfectly and integrated seamlessly with my smart home setup. Their reliability and ease of use inspired me to purchase a third switch for a future project involving a custom rail with integrated rope lighting. It took some time before that project was completed, and when I finally installed the third switch (which had been new and unused in its box), I discovered that one of the outlets wasn’t functioning. The other two worked fine, but the middle outlet was dead. I contacted Meross support and was assisted by Lydia, who was incredibly helpful and understanding. Even though the switch was technically out of warranty, she reviewed my video showing the issue and approved a replacement. That kind of customer service is rare these days, and it really shows how much Meross stands behind their products. I’ve since ordered a fourth switch for my upcoming back patio setup. I highly recommend Meross to anyone looking for smart home devices that are reliable, easy to install, and backed by excellent customer support. To avoid any issues with a possible defect, I do recommend connecting and testing your switch as soon as you receive it to make sure it’s functioning properly—especially if you plan to store it for a while before using it, like I did while waiting to finish my project. I’m still waiting for my replacement switch to arrive in the mail, but the fourth switch I recently ordered for my upcoming back patio setup has already arrived and works perfectly. Based on my experience, I’m confident the replacement will perform just as well as the others. It’s refreshing to see a company that not only builds dependable products but also takes genuine care of its customers. Meross has definitely earned my trust and continued business.

I purchased this product in November 2025 to control our outdoor Christmas lights. The Outdoor Smart Plug was easy to configure in Apple Homekit and did the trick. However, I noticed that when the lights were scheduled to be off, they were still dimly lit. After taking down the lights for the season, I did some testing. When the outlets were "off", there was till 16 VAC on the outlets. When switched on, it was the expected 120 VAC. I contacted meross support, provided my supporting data (video showing the 16 VAC when off). Support was very helpful and sent me a new Outdoor Smart Plug. This was my third or fourth meross smart outlet purchase and first time to contact support. While there were issues with this product when purchased, the customer support response was great and why I am still giving 5-stars.

I recent added 3 of these to our outdoor landscaping area. That brings us to a total of 9. The devices work great for our application. However , after being exposed to the weather the ID tags wear off making it very difficult to reprogram them. The good news is that their customer support is fantastic ! Not only did they help me set up the new devices in Home Kit but they helped me recover the setup codes for our older devices. The Meross app works great but the HomeKit app is much better for working with our security system.

Got this for external holiday decorations (eg, inflatables) to schedule on/off times, etc. I have a two port one as well. Pros: individual control of each of the 3 ports via the app. Cons: The only con I found on this was it is not AS waterproof as the 2 port one I had bought. As long as it's kept fairly well under cover it wasn't a significant issue.

Great option for Apple HomeKit integration. Though there was some difficulty during setup, I would attribute that to my Amazon Eero 6+ router as it has a mixed 5GHz and 2.4GHz network. The installation of the Meross plug requires a deep menu pick on the Eeros to shut off the 5GHz network for 15 minutes while the Meross app on the iPhone finds the plug. The trouble with the Home app correctly identifying the plug but not being able to connect the ID'd device to the network. Meross email support was spectacularly helpful in this regard. They sent me a stepwise set of instructions to reset the plug--providing crucial information to allow it to sit powered-up for 20 minutes so that the on-device web service for the app wouldn't automatically redirect to the Home app. Following those instructions and being patient for the Eeros to re-integrate the two bandwidths following the plug registration on the network and the Home app could then see the device without further issue. The plug itself is well-constructed, rugged and will be well-suited for life in our barn, supplying power to some extra lights that don't have their own switch (grouped in the Home app as one light) and to a heat lamp in our lambing jug. The convenience of Siri integration is being able to set scenes for feeding and not worry about a light being left on. Not my first Meross purchase, but definitely in-line with the quality I've come to expect at a very good price for the features.
