I was wary because an old review of this item showed that they received a duvet with only 55% down. I decided since that review was so old and newer reviews all said 80%Down, I would roll the dice. This comforter is super cozy and comfortable!! It’s a little noisy, but the comfort makes up for it. I have a king size bed. I do wish the comforter was a bit longer, but I think the length is pretty standard. Overall, I lover it!!

*UPDATE* I have had this comforter a few years now and I’m impressed with how it has held up. No loose feathers. Still just as fluffy and warm and cozy. It has been getting a tad chilly at night in SoCal so we brought this out to sleep with. Normally we have it on the bed mainly for looks and put it away at night. Lately though we have been using it again. I forgot how warm it keeps you. We try not to run the heater until we absolutely have too and this comforter is perfect for those nights when it gets chilly. 100% recommend this comforter for warmth. Save money on the heating bill and invest in this! Your wallet will thank you. Granted your boss may be not be happy though since you make not want to get out of the bed in morning. LOL I have a California King bed with a duvet cover that is 108”x96” so this worked out perfectly for my bed. Normally I have always purchased a king insert for a queen duvet cover for the fluff so when I upgraded bed size I was having a hard time finding a larger insert. I like having the longer length on the sides. This insert is very fluffy which is what I was looking for. Plus the weight is heavy and would be ideal for those cold nights. I live in California so it is warm most nights. I still leave the duvet on the end of the bed. The quality is great. I have not found too many loose feathers floating around. Definitely recommend if you are wanting an oversized duvet insert or if you are needing a warmer insert. This would be perfect.

Thrilled to finally find a reasonably priced * oversized * king down comforter. Well made, light, but very warm! Fill is nicely/evenly dispersed throughout (no empty spots/baffles). Drapes nicely down the sides of our bed. The cotton shell feels nice to the touch and overall, this seems like a comforter that will last decades. One odd thing to note: It makes an unusual "crinkly" noise with any/every movement. It's not loud and we personally do not find it bothersome, but some folks might. It's as if there is a lightweight plastic lining on the interior? Gave 4 out of 5 stars due to this. Otherwise, it's a very nice down comforter for the price; we plan to keep.

There are quite a few options to buy a comforter and it makes it difficult when there are mixed reviews. After looking at just about everyone goose comforter option, I decided with this one. What's important is not only the actual fill is Goose, where some have fine print with "fill" that is not true Goose, and also the amount of fill is also important which changes the weight of the blanket. This comforter had high quality of both. After letting the comforter air out for 2 days and then manually fluffing it up, it fluffed up perfectly, great quality, and met all my expectations. This comforter is great during colder times of the year, but most likely will need to swap it for a lighter comforter as it gets warmer. That is fine with me as this was purchased specifically for the colder months. Highly recommend and happy with this purchase.

I did SO MUCH research on duvets while trying to upgrade my bedding… I have pretty bad household allergies, so I spent hours looking into not only “fill power”, different weights, and seasons, but I also wanted to know more about synthetic/down/other feathers, etc, so I could get the weight and fluff I wanted without the sneezing! Let me tell you…. THIS DUVET IS A 10!!! It’s like a fluffy hotel comforter, kinda noisy but just how I like it. It’s heavy but not too hot, my allergies haven’t been bothered, and my very very hot sleeper of a boyfriend is also in love (he sweats no matter what, so no EXTRA sweating is a win in our book). We got the (oversized?) king for our king bed/duvet cover, so it’s extra fluffy which I love. The only thing keeping this score from being an 11, is that there’s no ties in the middle of the top or bottom edges to secure it to the duvet cover, so it kind of sinks in sometimes, which is no biggie for me. It’d goldendoodle approved, my puppy loves it! I’ll never go back!

For over a month, I read every review on amazon for down comforters. There were many that had questionable material and I was worried they wouldn’t be warm, lightweight and fluffy. This one is! Super comfortable, lightweight but also very warm. We live in Chicago so we wanted something with good warmth, but not too hot as my husband is a hot sleeper. We keep our thermostat at 73° in the winter and this comforter has been perfect! Although I originally wanted a 100% down comforter I decided to go with this one because I didn’t want to spend upwards of $300. This comforter is 80% goose down and 20% feather, but I could ask for anything more! There is a soft crinkle sound when moving the comforter, but that is to be expected because the thread count has to be high so the down/feathers can not escape. The shedding is low and the box stitching is even and full. Great comforter for a great price! I will update if anything changes!
