I have used this replacement insert four times since purchasing. It is so much better than the thinner and cheaper Teflon coated one that the cooker came with. Also much easier to clean. I’m really glad to get rid of the chipping Teflon from the original.

I am very pleased that the Power Pressure Cooker XL has this option for s stainless steel insert. I too have had scratches for years on the original non-stick insert. The reason I’m giving only a 4-star rating is that there is no inner lip on the steel version to rest the steamer plate on. One could use the steamer plate but it isn’t as secure. Didn’t use the plate much anyway so not a big deal ... for me anyways. ... show more

It was not compatible with my 8 qt XL PRESSURE COOKER AS STATED! It’s 1/4 inch too tall when installed ! And does not seal good! It almost blew up when I used it ! Scared me! Not safe to use!!

I had been looking for a stainless steel pot since the original non-stick pot that came with the pressure cooker starts to peel. It fits the pressure cooker perfectly. The material isn't heavy nor light, just the right weight and so easy to clean. I am happy with the purchase.

Works perfectly with my power pressure cooker XL. When I went to call the company for a replacement bowl they said they were sold out and no more were to be made. for an expensive kitchen appliance I find that unacceptable. I am so very grateful to find not only replacement, but an actual upgrade. Stainless steel is very easy to clean and now we are no longer ingesting non-stick coating material along with our food. Five stars all the way. Make sure you get the correct size! If you don't have your model number, hopefully you can find your manual and then be able to Google search the model number and size off there. ... show more
