I'll start off by saying I was a little skeptical purchasing a winch that wasn't one of the big brand name companies. First impression was (this thing is built very well) solid as could be and shipping was quick. I didn't install the winch with the provided bracket and fairlead. I had a winch bumper on my RZR that was perfect for it..now I'll start by saying the install was SUPER simple if you have any sort of common sense, and understand extremely basic wiring....I did have to make my own supply wires to the battery (factory sent ones were to short) but i also have a 4 seat RZR. The cables sent with the winch would be perfect for a 2 seat RZR, so keep that in mind. Secondly after the installation was completed I had a slight issue of the wireless remotes not working correctly. I contacted the company directly and got an almost immediate response! I walked them through the issues I was having and they were super communicative, with answering all questions I had. Needless to say we together determined that the wireless transmitter/receiver was malfunctioning and there wasn't much else I could do. They made everything right, and immediately sent me confirmation of a new winch being sent out. The gave me their sincere apologies, and I completely understand that sometimes things just don't work. Not directly their fault but a possible bug in the manufacturing of the wireless receiver/transmitter. Needless to say they have been an amazing company to work with and probably the BEST customer support I've ever received! I will forever be a lifelong customer!

Pros; - good size for ATV/UTV - remotes function, you do not need to install the manual switch if you don't want to - synthetic rope easier to work with and no corrosion issues - wires were just the right size for my application, no issues as some others have stated Cons; - the wiring instructions provided and even the ones on this listing show a receiver, there isn't one - the terminals on the relay box are too long making installing the boots a true pain in the back side, almost do not work - the top mount hole for the relay box is directly behind one of the terminal lugs making you use a sort mount bolt and making it difficult to access/tighten - the relay box is not sealed at all, you will need to do some work with some RTV if you want any water protection at all If installing on a Can Am that did not have a winch previously you will need to buy a mount plate as the one that comes with it will not work. The one shown was bought on Amazon for $58 and it is a direct bolt in. This is a unit for a ATV/UTV, do not install it on a Jeep, truck, or recovery trailer and expect it to pull you out. Get a bigger, more expensive winch and stop blaming this product for not performing outside its operating parameters.

Really love the capacity and strength of this winch. Comes very easy to use and very self explanatory. Instructions are not only helpful but included pictures of step by step instructions. Installed it and went to my local atv park, immediately wanted to try my new winch so I purposely dug into a mud hole and was stuck, ran the line out to a tree and using the remote it came with it pulled it out without no hesitation! Would recommend highly and would buy again!

The winch itself is fine. There are a few things I needed to change though. First of all, the bolts that hold the winch were not long enough to mount the unit. Therefore I had to get longer ones. The cables are way too short for a UTV like mine, Kawasaki Mule Pro MX LE. Plus they are way too light for the current draw of the winch. They look like number #10 cables. I replaced them all with #4 cables. Had to buy 10 new end connectors, a hammer crimper, etc. I also put in a toggle switch in the remote sensor 12 volt red wire. Just a SPST toggle. That way, the remote sensor is not always pulling a small amount of current on the battery. I replaced both batteries in both remotes. I tested the distance and they were still working at 75 feet away. I didn't test the distance any further, however they work excellent. I also bought better terminal covers as well. The others would of worked, but are not real sturdy or strong. Again, I made some upgrades to make it better and safer. I also fused the positive red line to the winch handlebar control. (I actually bought a better dash winch control switch). I recommend this winch and thought an honest review might be helpful to others.

I installed this winch to put into a trailer so it could pull a rolling 1,500 lbs vehicle into the trailer. On the first pull into the trailer the gear was stripped and wouldn’t even pull the vehicle 2 feet. The company won’t be able to get my money back do to to much load on the winch, a 3,500 lbs winch should be able to pull 1,500 lbs more than 2 feet.
