Each unit features Series Wound motors which are extremely efficient at higher speeds and less prone to overheating compared to Permanent Magnet motors. Better still, Rough Country Recovery Systems utilize a 3-stage planetary gear train boasting a 265:1 gear ratio; allowing enormous torque in such a small housing. All Rough Country PRO winch systems include a replaceable Clevis hook for convenience. Rough Country Winch Cradle Hitch Mount | 2" Receiver Hitch - RS109 Black Featuring a 1/4" plate steel cradle and a standard winch mount bolt pattern, this universal winch plate allows for up to a 12,000lb winch from most manufacturers and fits any standard receiver hitch with a 5/8" pin. Unlike many receiver plates, this kit features a fully welded center bracket instead of a cheaper bolt-on plate, and is designed with 1" OD solid handle bars and powder coated hammertone black for year after year durability.
