This hose has been great. It only kinks when I bend it in half, otherwise, water still runs through it even when it's pinched around a corner. It's lightweight and is not stiff like most hoses. I own a 50 ft length and plan to buy a few more for other faucets on my property. My only critique is that the handle on the end attached to my mobile hose reel sticks out and can make it awkward to reel in. It is an old reel so I'll probably look and see if Orbit has something that is more compatible with this hose. Overall though it's worked great for me. ... show more

I like this hose and the connections from a function standpoint. I just am not comfortable with the amount of chemicals that come out when I first use the hose each time. It has been two years and it still foams like dish soap for the first 4 or 5 minutes of flowing and there is a noticeable chemical smell as well. It goes away after a while, but I cant help but think that it cannot be healthy for my animals or the food I water with it. I just got this hose from orbit and I already love it. Just the feel of the hose is premium which give a great first impression. Apart from that though it does a great job of preventing kinks, and I really love the design for how you twist this on the hose bib which also prevents kinks but also makes it super easy to install nice and tight to prevent any leaking water by having a super tight seal. I did buy a 100 ft hose and let me tell all this has to be the worst water hose ever, it’s very difficult to unravel and you spend more time keeping the kinks out than doing the actual job. When the summer job is done this thing is going in the trash, pathetic hose. Now I will say this if you keep the hose straight without moving around a lot it will be fine but if you move around a like I do it’s terrible. ... show more
