Positives: - easy to set - several sound options - two alarms - can set alarms for all days, weekdays only, or weekends only - three different light settings - no buttons on the front that can accidentally be touched I wish that when you hit snooze or turn the alarm off that it only turned the sound off but it turns off both the alarm and the light. Overall this is a very decent clock and worth the cost it just isn’t so great that I would give it 5/5 stars.

This is an amazing bedside clock. I ordered this because of the adjustable brightness on the clock display, but all the other features this has are wonderful. Clock: The clock is easy to read and being able to adjust the brightness, between off, low, medium, and high is exactly what I needed. It is nice to be able to turn the clock off if having a hard time falling asleep and turn it back on low in the middle of the night when you want to see the time. Its a simple one click button to cycle through these modes. Light: There are so many options and brightness levels this is great. You can also add the light into the alarm to wake up with light instead of noise, which is a HUGE benefit. You can use alarm 1 to wake with light and alarm 2 to wake with noise should the light not work. Waking without the sound is awesome. Alarm: I've already mentioned some of this in the light section, but using the alarm with light is a nice addition. I still set alarm two for a backup incase it doesn't work with light alone, but so far the light has woken me within 10 or so minutes of the alarm time. The buttons for the alarm, except to snooze and dismiss, are on the bottom of the clock so you don't accidentally turn your alarms on or off. You can also set the alarms to only trigger on weekdays or specifics like that, which I haven't seen in a bedside alarm before. Sound Machine: This is a perfect addition to a device like this. It is already producing sound for the alarm, so adding in additional sounds and not needing to add an additional speaker is a great choice. There are about 20 different sounds, easy to scroll through and adjust the volume. My favorite is the crackling fire, which there are two different fire options for. Overall this exceeded my exceptions for all of the functionality it offers!

I rated this five stars because it's a good clock, does what it says, and is aesthetically pleasing, but it's not my dream clock. Disclaimer: I'm *super* picky and I have things I want that I haven't found in one clock. However, this one has some great features! What I was hoping for was a sunrise clock that could be totally muted. This has a nice assortment of alarm-type noises, including three tones of white noise. I currently have this clock set to the lowest volume level with the deepest white noise and it's tolerable. Because we don't often wake up to an alarm, I really wanted a clock that would simulate the sunrise but at the time we want, especially during the winter when we often get up before the sun rises. I really like that after a half an hour this turns itself off rather than me having to manually turn it off. That usually gives me enough time to shower and start the waking-up process without having to stop what I'm doing (or add something else to my morning routine) to turn off the alarm. Right now I have it set to start with a warm orange tone and go to bright daylight white. One thing I wish is that it would stop at about mid-way between warm orange and white, or take an hour to go from one extreme to the other. Regardless, it's a great clock with a lot of choice for alarm, volume, and light. It makes it nicer to wake up in these winter mornings!

I was able to follow the instructions and set up the sunrise alarm to go off every weekday (but not weekend), so that was great. But it does take time to read the instructions and cycle through the sounds. Also the sounds have numbers associate with them. When I first read the list, I thought it would go down the left column and start again on the right. But you can see they go left to right, down, left to right, down again. If you want a specific sound look at the number associated with it, which will show on the screen. Somehow in setting up the weekday alarm perfectly, I started a weekend alarm accidentally. Thankfully I found out pretty late in the morning when it started to ring. I was already awake and turned it off. I didn't remember how to get rid of the second alarm though. Finally I pulled out the instruction manual and figured out how to turn it off. I hope I did turn it off anyway. It only shows one alarm being set on the screen. I thought to myself that it would be bright lights on the clock numbers as I was trying to go to sleep, but figured out I could turn off the display at night, so that's great! It actually does everything I want it to. It just took a long time to figure out how to do it all. The light woke me up before the birds chirping were heard (I should probably increase the volume but kind of don't want to mess with it because of how long it takes to go through setup). There are a lot of buttons and it can be difficult to remember which one to press. So I may just leave it alone as it's working pretty well the way I have it now. I forgot to mention the sounds. I HATE it when sound effects like birds or babbling brooks shortly abruptly repeat. I need a seamless sound. The bird sound effect I used works well. The ones I heard while cycling through seemed pretty good. I've got a different device for white noise (waves, and whatnot), so I don't use this clock regularly for that, but I think it's pretty good compared to some really bad ones I've heard and hated in the past. This is not overly easy to use, but it works. The instructions are pretty good too. You can see my pictures for those.
