It is affordable, has excellent flow, and the design of the filter part makes it easy to customize with different media if you want to. I am using the foam it came with, but wrapping a layer of 100 micron filter mat over it and it works perfectly.

The product works well I have been using it for a week and had no problems with durability. One drawback is the fact that the flow of the pump is a little too hard. The filter works well my water is clear and clean. Noise level is good it’s not silent but it isn’t to loud either I sleep in the room that i am using it in and have had no problems with it being to loud.

This is my favorite filter of all the different types I've bought for my fish over the years. Very easy to assemble (the video on the product page shows how to put it together) and it's so easy to clean. It can be placed almost anywhere in the tank, unlike the ones that have to hang over the edge of the tank. It produces a bubbling noise, but not the trickling water noise that a lot of other filters produce. It's also much less expensive than other types of filters.

I bought this based on good reviews, It was the worst mistake I have ever made! My goldfish of 2 years died because the pump stopped working over night! I'm so sad about it, this is not a good filter the suctions don't hold up the filter well.
