    • A lot of hardware for the money
Size: For 18" Kamado Joe Classic
I only needed the "tower" thing that fits on the fire basket to hold up the grate, but this plus the heat deflectors and a new grate is practically the same price. And the quality seems fine. A spare grate will probably come in handy, though I'm not sure I will ever put the reflectors to use. The rack fit fine, locked into the fire basket just like the original did, and it works fine with my grate. The gauge of the metal is clearly a bit lighter than the original. We'll see if it can last seven or eight years like the OEM Kamado Joe parts did. ... show more

    • Fits Expert Grill Kamado perfect
Size: For 18" Kamado Joe Classic
It fits my cheap Walmart Expert Grill Kamado grill perfectly. There are zero accessories made for this cheap grill but thankfully most of the accessories made for the char-griller Akron will fit. It sits perfectly on the lip of the charcoal basket providing a heat deflector for low and slow cooks. It does stick above (about 2.5”) the original grilling surface and you have to remove your old grate but it’s perfect for placing a drip pan or water pan underneath your food. I highly recommend this accessory for any Kamado griller. On a side note the Char-Griller meat smoker heat deflector will work also sitting in the same place and you can use your original grate to cook instead of this much more expensive alternative. The downside to that one is that its shape allows more heat around it and there’s not as much coverage/reflective surface. It is much thicker though. Theres enough room with it that you could place a drip/water pan on it as well so it is a cheaper option. The nice thing about this set up is that you can remove one half of the heat deflector and have two different grilling zones - direct and indirect with a full charcoal basket. ... show more

    • Fits Vision Grills Kamado
Size: For 18" Kamado Joe Classic
I installed this "onlyfire Cooking System Fit for Large..." in a Vision Grills Kamado Professional S-Series. The opening is 18-inch and the insert dropped right in resting on the edge of the inside bowl. The grill closes perfectly. While the entire kit is perfectly functional, the metal rack is thinner and lighter than the original insert, and so is the deflector stone definitely giving cheap feel. The half-moon design makes it easier to work while lighting up the grill as it does not require removing the entire rack to add more charcoal (when smoking). The lips of the rack are a little too long requiring playing with the half moons to insert and remove; perhaps this will get easier over time. I do like the product, knowing what I know now I would have given the Kamado Joe original parts stronger consideration. ... show more

    • Didn’t fit my large BGE
Size: For 18" Kamado Joe Classic

Products arrived in a timely fashion and in good shape. Packaging was adequate but not overdone. The item seems very well made and sturdy unfortunately the item did not fit down into my bge as it should. The grill frame diameter seems about 1/2” too wide to fit down onto the coal basket as it should. My bge is a few years old so perhaps they have changed their size in newer models or perhaps I just got a defective individual item. It’s a shame because I was hoping to to a Thanksgiving Turkey on my bge this year. I’m a little apprehensive to reorder the same thing because it may have the same issue and I have to go through all this again. ... show more

Seem to be good quality. Plates are a little thin but not bad. I always cover. Perfect fit.

    • Vision Classic user
Size: For 18" Kamado Joe Classic
Using on a Vision Classic B. Fits perfectly with no modifications needed. I have used several times and it is definitely an improvement over the vision lava stone. I love the option of having 2 heat zones to reverse sear steaks. I did notice yesterday that one of the welds on one of the cooking grates came apart, but it didn’t impact my cook. Might reach out to manufacturer and see if they will replace since it’s pretty new. ... show more

    • If you bought a Vison Grill from Home Depot you need this, period.
Size: For 18" Kamado Joe Classic
I have a Vison Kamado grill as it is will not do indirect cooking like other Kamado like Kamado Joe out of the box. Good value as it's construction is on par it doesn't come equipped with a grate system you get here. You get many options in heat levels as well as deflection. Would recommend to any griller Kamado grill or not as they make these for Weber kettle grills too. ... show more
