Great Receiver!
Great receiver. Full of features, great sound, deep control via web interface. It is big and bulky.

Almost perfect (maybe I'm just picky)
Great value for an AV receiver. Feature rich. Easy to install. Would have given it 5 stars except the built in amplifiers have no low end bass. Had to use an external amplifier connected to the preamplifier outputs to get decent bass. Another down side is when you use 4 Ohm speakers it reduces the power delivered. Overall I am happy with it but I had to do some work arounds. Fortunately it has preamp outputs so I could. I assume that they expect you to use a powered subwoofer for bass. Note: I run without a sub woofer because my front channels have 3 15" speakers. With a decent amp a sub woofer isn't needed

Good product
Works well. A little complicated for me to setup. But has an interface out of the HDMI to help. I needed the 3 zones and works as expected.

Patience yields very good results
There's a learning curve with the setup. But once you get direct live dialed in it's very magical.

Plenty of tech and sounds great
Today there are many AVR/Amp/Preamp choices. I opted to go with the Onkyo RZ series, the RZ30 specifically. I’ve been listening to music for 50+ years and at one point had separates for all the audio duties, I don’t want to afford that route anymore. The Onkyo has everything I need; plenty of power for music and movies, more channels than I have available speakers, phono preamp, Dirac room correction, WiFi ready, pre outs, multiple popular streaming formats and can be controlled via my smart phone. It sets up quickly and is easy to operate. The volume control feels solid and purposeful. Affordable technology and it looks great.
