When shopping for counter stools I didn’t want to spend too much because I think stools get a lot of wear and tear very quickly and easily get spilled on to. I just wanted some that would look nice, be functional, and be a little stain resistant/hide stains well. These so far have been great! They are just as pictured- really love the green color. They seem pretty sturdy too, especially for the affordable price. They’re easy to clean, my toddler has already spilled tomato soup on one of them and I just wiped it clean with a damp rag, no problem! My only criticisms: 1) the directions for setting them up could be better. I found it much easier to attach the back rest to the appropriate poles first, THEN I inserted those poles into the base and fasten the rest of the chair; the directions state you should assemble the base first then the back rest which is difficult to get all the holes to line up- I think others may have struggled with that too. 2) one of the chairs does slightly wobble on my hard floors- but I don’t see it as a big deal for this price point- it’s not super noticeable! And 3) as for size- the seats could be a little deeper? They aren’t super robust chairs, but I was looking for something smaller and lighter that would be easy to move around as I have storage under my kitchen island, so I don’t mind because it’s easy to get the chairs out of the way when I need to get at the bottom storage cabinets. I purchased these stools in orange for my sofa back table. They arrived early, my bf surprised me and had them put together for when I got home from work. absolutely LOVE these chairs!! i am obsessed with this burnt orange color, it’s super rich and bright and matches my living room vibes perfectly. chairs that have backs were a must bc my husband has a bad back and these worked perfectly. the velvety material is also super soft and doesn’t make you hot. my cats have not touched it yet either so that’s a plus! only complaint is that it wasn’t super easy assembly for me. the directions straight forward, but it was very difficult to get 2/4 of the screws lined up with their holes correctly. took a long time and a lot of frustration, but the end result was worth it! ... show more
