I pack a carry on with all of the necessities. I usually use Ziplock bags to organize them. However, the zip locks wear out quickly. I grabbed this material in multiple colors (and will use several patterns to customize the bags to what they are carrying). So far the material is easy to work with. It doesn't stretch, it cuts well under a rotary cutter, and my machine sewed it without requiring tension adjustments (which I'll probably make to optimize later). The bags are translucent, so you can see what they contain without opening them.

The color (red) is beautiful and the material seems strong. But it’s toilet paper thin and nearly translucent. That may work for certain outdoor projects, but not for the cushion I was planning to use it for. I didn’t read as carefully as I should have. Seems pretty strong!!

I bought this to replace a failed clear "vinyl" window on the fly of my REI half dome tent. This material is being sold as 40 D, compared to the 40 D used on the tent, this is very thin and lightly PU coated. The window panel I am replacing is not large (approx. 30"x14"), so I am going to go ahead and use it in this case, this was a larger job, I would have sent it back, being thinner than described. I do not feel it was a fair value, but it is light weight, so 3 stars it is.
