I absolutely love this product! It is so much nicer to look at than the stainless steel dual compartment can we had been using. It coordinates with my white shaker panel kitchen cabinets, and provides another surface for decorations. The waste containers in the stainless steel garbage can held so much less garbage and were hard to remove when the bag got full. The waste containers in this trash cabinet are SOOO much larger and come out with ease. No more drawstring garbage bags ripping open from getting stuck in those skinny containers. I love the tilt out doors, makes removing the cans so easy and the cans sit deep enough that I no longer have to worry about wet garbage touching the lid as I did with the stainless steel garbage can. It was easy to assemble (though it took about 2 hours to fully assemble), the quality of the materials seem good. It is easy to clean as well. We have only had it since Christmas, but hands down, it was my favorite gift to myself for the holiday! ... show more

Everything about this I love. People will never know it’s a garbage can because it’s so beautiful you would never guess it holds garbage. It pulls in the image of my kitchen perfectly. This cabinet looks nice in the kitchen, and the extra counter-like storage on top is handy. The unit took me around 2.5 hours to assemble, but went together pretty well. I recommend using a drill to drive some of the screws, particularly the ones for the back panel, as there are only four pre-drilled holes on the back, and getting the screws to bite where there aren't holes would take some effort with a screwdriver. Also, finding a trash can that would actually fit the inside clearance was not easy, as the support frame pieces on the front cut off a good amount of height. I eventually found suitable ones at Home Depot - their Rubbermaid 10.38 gallon cans will fit and clear those frame pieces. I couldn't find a single 13 gallon can that would, though. But with suitable cans in there, it does work fairly well. ... show more

My grandson put this together for me in 1-2 hrs although he felt it could of been made a little better. A bolt/screw actually broke in half—but they do provide you with xtra parts. Looks great & love having hideaway cans and an extra counter !! Haven’t turned on air freshener as of yet, but plan to.

I tried putting this trash can together in one night, but it took 4 hours. The instructions are hard to follow. It only shows pictures and kept flipping the position of the boards in each step. I had to take it apart numerous times and rebuild taking an additional 4 hours. The material is not of good quality making it easy to scratch and break with the screws. For the price of this product it should come assembled or at least give an option to pay extra. I gave 3 stars just because if you do put it all together, it does look pretty. ... show more
