I was going to use this for on board travel with my cat but there is not a lot of privacy. It's sturdy, light weight easy to carry but no shades to roll down for privacy. Lots of ventilation, all the sides and top are a strong mesh. It is good for car travel and easy to throw a towel over if she needs shading. There are carrying handles or a shoulder strap, I prefer the shoulder strap. My cat is small 9 lbs and there is lots of room inside for her. ... show more

First time flying with my cat. Took American Airlines, had no problem at all. Easy to get my cat in and out of the carrier. Wasn’t sure if it would fit my 20lb cat comfortably because he’s a big boy, but when he finally got used to being in it and layed down, he actually had a decent amount of space for movement. He could turn around just fine. I had bought a larger carrier as backup but I’m glad this one worked out well. I plan to continue using this one for future travel! I only wish the strap had a better cushion but also could’ve just been because my cat is stupid heavy. ... show more

I love this carrier! This is my second purchase… tried one of these carriers and bought another one! Am getting rid of my hard side carriers and will use these exclusively… they are secure and have an adjustable strap to go with the handle for extra sturdiness!!
