I have not used the cat carrier for traveling yet, but both cats have "inspected" and so far it meets their approval. It would work as is for a SHORT trip. However, I probably need a 2nd one to comfortably provide back seat long-distance travel for both full grown cats. I THINK I could cobble together a solution, but it would be nice if there was an option to zip two carriers together in the back seat so the litter section could be used in one of them and then the 2 could share the rest of the combined space. Then it would be easy to separate them into two carriers before opening the T.V. doors to transport to trailer, or destination. I will be new to long distance travel and am nervous about "transfers" in strange places. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Our family was in the car for over 30 hours and this carrier allowed my cat to be comfortable and use the bathroom while we were driving. Our cat is 13 pounds and fluffy, but fit in the carrier with adequate space where she was able to move around comfortably.

I have it set up in the bedroom so my cats will get use to it before traveling in it. My one cat likes to sleep on top of it. Tried to getbhim to sleep inside but he will only lay on top of it. I put treats in it and they eat those but will not sleep there. Only my one cat sleeps on top of it. He prefers to sleep on top of things. My other cat likes to sleep under things. ... show more

Cats on the smaller side (no more than 2) fit well if they get along. This product held up great on a road trip and a recent vet appointment. The litter pan is a litter harder to clean because claws get stuck and make holes in the cover. Lots of storage for your pet and is easy to transport.
