So we decided to let go of our sticks and bricks home and travel full time in a 45’ fifth wheel with our 2 huge Tom cats and 3 dogs. Our dogs are seasoned travelers but our cats were beginners. I needed a carrier for my 18.5 lb (pictured) and 16 lb cats for travel days. This carrier was perfect! it holds both cats while keeping them separate. It’s gives both cats plenty of room. Sets up super easy and stows away in the included carrying bag easily! It also comes with a portable litter box which I have yet to need but it’s nice to know I have it when and if I do. I really like that you can put the cats in and take them out from the front or the ends of each section as well as fully enclose or leave it openly vented. I will say it is much larger than I expected and takes up the entire back seat of my small suv. It would easily hold two small dogs. One of my boys gets car sick and the covers zip off of the pads and are easily cleaned in the washer, and I sprayed the carrier out with nature’s miracle and the water hose then set it out on the pic nic table to dry and it took no time! This is a great buy for traveling pets and their parents!🙂

If you're looking for a way to transport more than one cat across country, this could be a lifesaver. My cats would never touch the hammocks while I had this out for them in my house, getting them used to it. However, what I did, for a 4-day trip, was use a piece of plywood across my rear seat in a RAV hybrid (if my seats laid flat, I would've had more option for set-up), so that the carrier could be stable everywhere, also supported by cushioning under the plywood for leveling/stability. The cats had ample room and ventilation and were amazingly relaxed for these long days. They had never been in the car like that, so I didn't know what to expect. The best thing about this carrier was being able to twist and fold up one side of it, inside my car, so that both cats could be carried together into a hotel, etc, without worrying about them having any opportunity for a mad dash. The quality is excellent, the zippers are fine. It's big, but we needed big for two cats. Sturdy for sure, but not too heavy. Thank god I bought it.

I used two of these to transport my four cats across the U.S. when I moved. They are spacious enough and come with a cat litter box. My cats loved the little hammocks, and were hiding in them the entire time. I wasn’t worried about them escaping. I highly recommend this for travel or as a temporary enclosure for new kittens!

I got it for moving my one cat Dante. I haven’t moved yet (I got it early so he could get used to it), so I can’t say anything about its movability, but he loves it! It has more than enough room for him (he is about 13 pounds). A single one would have fit him well, but I got this one because of the portable litter box it has as well as the extra space, so he wouldn’t have to sit in the litter box while we travel. I didn’t hang the hammocks, because he doesn't like the one on his cat tree, but I’m not sure the thing would be able to take his weight hanging off of it. There is a divider in the middle, which I will leave partially zipped so he can access the litter box on one side, and so that I can shoo him to the other side, zip it up, and clean out the box freely without having to worry about him escaping. I would not recommend using this to take your cat to the vet, as it is massive (unless you are taking multiple cats at once), but it should be great for a long road trip. It is lightweight, and decently sturdy. I am concerned about picking it up with him inside as it does not have a solid bottom, but rather pads that offer minimal support. It does have covers that velcro over the windows if your cat prefers privacy. The two windows zip open, as do both sides of the carrier for ease of access.

It is very easy to assemble and put away. It just pops up and bam, you're done. To put away, you turn it on one side and push to accordion it down, it folds down super easy. It looks like a little camping tent with all the flaps and zippers, so cute! The cats loved playing in it when I first took it out. It is plenty big enough for 2, and one of them is quite large. I would not put the litter box in there with both cats, but that is just me. The hammock parts might be strong enough to hold a kitten, but the structure started to collapse when my big boy tried climbing on them. It did have a weird plastic smell, so one of my cats did pee on it because she has territorial issues. But it cleaned pretty easily with some Nature's Miracle. Good thing is the felt pads that go in the bottom kept the piss from getting to the carpet. I used it for a long car ride, and by the end of it the wire posts in the top had poked out of their casing. As long as the cats stay inside the tent, it is ok, but they have made a habit of walking over it while it's in the backseat, causing it to collapse in. Maybe the reason why it broke in the first place... There were some pleasant surprises in the package. The carrying case has all kinds of extra pockets, where you could put a food dish, treats, or whatever. It comes with little stakes and loops on each bottom corner, so you could stake it into the ground (like a tent) and not have it blow away. Overall, it is a great product, I will continue to use it when I take my cats camping or want to give them some contained outside time.
