    • Solid, Quiet Ceiling Fan with Strong Airflow — Great for Garage or Shop

I installed this 60" ceiling fan above my main work table in the garage and it has been a great addition to the space. First impression out of the box was very positive. The fan feels solidly built with an all-metal body, a durable plastic light cover, and blades that appear to be ABS. Nothing about it feels flimsy or cheap. Installation was straightforward. I mounted mine to a custom wood rafter mount and followed the included wood mounting instructions. The wiring and mounting process were simple and all of the hardware threaded easily and securely. The blade assembly does involve quite a few screws, so having a bit driver with a Phillips attachment will make the process much easier. Airflow is strong and effective without being overbearing. It moves plenty of air across the workspace but doesn’t create a distracting gale-force effect. Noise levels are excellent. The only sound is the gentle whoosh of the air moving—there’s no motor noise, rattling, or vibration. The remote works reliably and responds immediately. I have it mounted on the wall about 15 feet away and it controls the fan without any issues. Pairing initially had me concerned, but you simply need to hold the link button for about 10 seconds for it to connect. The integrated light works well as general illumination in the garage. It’s dimmable and perfectly functional, though I wouldn’t rely on it as the sole task lighting for a workbench area. A bit more brightness would have been nice, but it still adds useful ambient light. Overall this fan feels like it sits somewhere between industrial and residential in both appearance and durability, which actually makes it a great fit for spaces like garages, workshops, patios, or larger rooms. ... show more
