I am a multimedia artist and this projector is absolutely perfect for my needs. The auto-focus auto-adjust feature is great! I use it for its portability and the ability to hook up an external audio output - would be better if it was stereo output, but other than that this is a great option for anyone into experimental projection art or home theater options. I took the plung and got the 3000 lumen projector, so far extremely satisfied, it is bright even in the day with a big window or lights on at night, the color is amazing, the upscaling is perfect, I've tried others this exceeded those and my expectations I finally feel as though I have a real home theater now. 3 days in and I love this thing. It's quiet, super bright from at least 15 ft away, easy to use!

I have an optoma projector which is true 4k, and though the picture of this projector here is good, I do not believe that it is 4k, or at least I couldn't get it to reach 4k myself. Now when it comes to the internal software (the home screen with a few downloadable apps) - truthfully this is actually pretty decent compared to my optoma. I always plug a chromecast or a fire stick into these things, or play my switch or playstation, so to be honest, I've never really found any projector to have a stunning home screen, but this is the best that i've encountered so far owning numerous projectors. Im using this as an outdoor patio projector for nice evenings, and I do also appreciate the internal speaker. its not horribly flat, and we don't listen to the volume very loud at night, as not to disturb the neighbors. I smoke meats and can be up for long hours at night, so this projector has come in handy feeling like im hanging out in the living room. I do wish that there was more control when it comes to adjusting the blurriness, as the increments I feel are not small enough to get that true crisp color. Though I enjoy the auto alignment feature, I do wish there was better manual adjustment for this as well. Overall I'd say a solid 3.5 stars

I first bought a video projector 20 years ago and loved it for the giant 100" screen it provided. Back then, I paid close to a grand for a machine that weighed a ton and required multiple cables for all my video devices and audio equipment. Boy, have things changed. In a box that weighs less than my laptop, I've got the same 100" image, just as bright and clear, and all I had to plug in was the power. Everything is built in. Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon Prime are all inside the projector, along with the ability to download additional apps, just like a Smart TV. It even has ScreenShare and Screencast for pushing your iPhone, Mac, Android, or Windows machine to it. I don't have an Android phone, and my Windows machine doesn't have WiFi, so I couldn't use Miracast, but I had no problem connecting my iPad or my MacBook Pro. For some reason, the Screencast app comes built-in, but you have to download the ScreenShare app to get started. It was easy, though. Once you have this projector hooked up to your WiFi, you can download anything you need. A couple other things have really impressed me. In my setup, the bookcase facing the wall isn't very well centered, so I've had to use the projector's built-in keystoning to correct the image. It's done a great job of squaring off the picture despite the projector being well to the side. It has an auto-keystoning feature so that on boot it tries to auto-correct the shape of the image, but for some reason it fails every time and goes back to my manual settings. Annoyingly it loses a little bit of focus after trying to auto-correct, so I have to focus up after turning the projector on, but focusing is done from the remote control so it's easy, and the manual adjustments make for a great picture. Also, the contrast is just amazing. A classic problem with video projection is since the light is constant, even in a solid black image, there will be a light gray box on the wall showing the projector's edge. But somehow, this projector has no edges, and when you look at a solid black background, you can't tell where the image ends. I took some video of starting the built-in Plex application just to show off how good the edge contrast is on the black loading screen. I'm really impressed by this projector. Unquestionably, there are quieter, brighter, crisper projectors out there for someone who really wants to go all the way on their image. But for being just an easy-to-use, out-of-the-box experience that will quickly give you a picture that if not the best you can get today, is as good as the best you could get 20 years ago, this is as good as you can find.
