  • Affordable and easy to use Affordable and easy to use
Wimius smart Projects is a great little machine for an affordable price. The auto focus lense is great as any kind of slight change to the distance instantly will correct itself. If the projector is mounted on the ceiling or placed on a stable shelf, I’d recommend turning off the auto focus and keystone correction features. Clarity of the picture is also really nice either in low light or no light settings. Able to really see the details when projecting onto a large or small surface. The built-in Netflix, prime video and other apps work smoothly, and I didn’t even need a streaming stick. Easy to setup, interact with, and learn, which was nice. Sound quality with dolby audio on its own isn't too bad but I would recommend pairing with a sound bar or something else. ... show more

  • Great Projector Great Projector
Size: Standard Color: Gray
I've owned a few projectors from Wimius, and this one by far has been the best. Context: I live in a studio with blackout curtains, with smart light bulbs that can dim so I have good control of the ambient light in my room. Pros: 1. The built in Google TV gives it a premium feel. I was able to get rid of my Chromecast (Which I used to mostly cast YouTube and Crunchyroll) and Amazon Fire stick since Prime, YouTube, Crunchyroll, and many other streaming services are built into Google TV. 2. The projector is very bright and sharp (see video). It's clear even when I have my lights on at 100%. 3. The connection to Bluetooth speakers is seamless from boot up when you have it set up. The range of the volume control on the remote is decent too. 4. The remote works well with the projector. I've had projectors where you have to literally point at or get closer to the projector to work, but I haven't experienced that with this projector. Cons: 1. The auto focus function isn't perfect. I always need to manually fix the focus from the control. You can turn off the auto focus from the settings, so it's not a big issue if you don't plan on moving the projector much. 2. The projector freezes occasionally when you're navigating through the menu, or loading videos. It usually happens when you first start it up. Personally, it doesn't happen enough for it to be annoying, and once the shows are playing, it plays smoothly. 3. The projector has limited ports: one HDMI, one headphone, one USB. This wasn't a problem for me since the projector got rid of my streaming sticks, and I only need one HDMI for a Nintendo Switch, but it could be a problem for some. However, the one HDMI port has the power option where you can turn it on from the Switch. It's a small feature that makes it more intuitive. They sell HDMI switches out there that might fix the issue if you want more HDMI slots, but then you will lose out on the HDMI power option. Suggestions to optimize your experience: 1. The power button has two options. Long press is a hard shutdown. Short press is like putting the projector on sleep mode. I like keeping it on the sleep mode, which reduces the reboot time significantly (see video to see how quick the reboot is for the sleep mode). If you like smart functions, you can also turn on/off the projector from the Google home app as long as if you didn't do the hard shutdown. 2. I recommend taking time to go through the projector settings to nail out the kinks. A lot of my frustrations came from setup/the default Google TV settings. After I tailored it to my liking, the experience was more intuitive and I enjoyed it a lot more ... show more

  • Incredible Clarity & Easy Streaming – Perfect for Movie Nights! Incredible Clarity & Easy Streaming – Perfect for Movie Nights!
The image and video quality on this projector is absolutely top-notch, which is the most important factor for me. The crystal clear visuals make every movie or show look sharp and vibrant, even in rooms with ambient light. The brightness and clarity are honestly better than I expected at this price point – no washed-out colors or blurry edges here! One standout feature is the automatic focus – it’s fast and extremely accurate. I didn’t have to fiddle with manual adjustments at all, and it consistently keeps the image sharp even when I move the projector slightly. It’s one of the best auto-focus systems I’ve seen on a projector. Streaming is also seamless. With built-in access to Netflix and Amazon Prime, I can easily switch between shows without needing any external devices or complicated setups. It’s really plug-and-play, which I love. The built-in speaker is surprisingly powerful as well. I was impressed with the volume and clarity—it fills a medium-sized room with no problem, which is perfect for casual movie nights without needing external speakers. Overall, this projector delivers exceptional visual performance, which is exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend it if image clarity, brightness, and ease of use are your priorities. ... show more

  • The inexpensive King Size TV for a dark room.
Size: Standard Color: Gray
I am very impressed by this product. Easy to set up, auto focus, sharp picture with good color. It looks spectacular in very dark room and even good in one with blackout curtains on a large window. It connected quickly to my sound bar. What I like the most is how large the picture is on my wall. I do not use screen just my light color wall and it looks great. Not as sharp as my 75 inch TCL QM6K, but that cost 3 times as much on Black Friday ($700 vs $230) when I bought. The difference is 2K vs 4K I think, but 120" picture makes up for it. I find the projector far more immersive, almost like being in a theater. Wimius recomends 80-100" as the best picture quality. But 120" looks great to me. I purchased a 6 foot stand for the projector for $25 and Ultimea M60 soundbar with subwolfer for $110 which adds to the theater experience. While the Wimius G1 has dolby Atmos and decent sound for a stand alone TV, the soundbar makes a big difference. I also like the Google TV interface on the G1 (same as on my TCL TV) for its options. Bottom line I created a home theater for under $400 that I am quite happy with. ... show more

  • A Solid Investment- Best Projector I've Come Across
Size: Standard Color: Gray
I went through a long and arduous process of finding the right projector for me and have happily settled on this one. It definitely felt like an investment, being more expensive than all the others I tried but comparatively, it is the best. Pros - google tv functions really well- you really have everything you need, app wise - settings are super easy to understand/use - great picture (bright enough to work in the daytime- blinds closed but blackout curtains not drawn) - auto focus works really well (it sits on a mounted shelf and i never need to fix manually) - the fan isn't super loud Cons - the major con is dust builds up really fast which creates spots on the "screen". This is fixed by opening up the bottom and using the included long Q tips to wipe off the lenses. I don't love that this process has to be done so often. I cleaned it completely and about 5 days later, more dust spots appeared. This being a big problem all depends on how perfect you want the picture. The spots show up on solid black screens. For example, you'll notice the spots on the Netflix/Youtube intro/opening screens but you don't really notice the spots when watching shows/when there is moving color. So really, it's not THAT big a deal (unless you're more OCD). I will probably let the dust build up a bit more and then clean before I have a movie night. Attached is a video to show what I mean. - the projector's speaker isn't super loud OVERALL, I really do recommend this project and I have tried MANY. I really hope I won't change my tune on this but luckily, if there is a problem, there is a THREE YEAR warranty! ... show more

  • Good Projector with smart features Good Projector with smart features
Size: Standard Color: Gray
I am using my current projector from more than 5 months now which is great but we placed the projector in my son's room to play games on PS5. So we decided to go with one more projector and that is the time we purchased Wilmus G1 smart projector. This G1 comes with neatly packed with projector, remote without batteries, power cable, lens protector & cleaner, guide to setup. Setup is quick if you know how to connect to your home WIFI and if you remember your google account details. This projector is way above my expectation for the price when compared to others in the market with same features. Picture quality is good, brightness could have been bit more but still nice to use in day time. Make sure that your internet is good, if not steaming through app won't run smooth. Auto-focus & correction is very quick, which makes me to continue watching from my cough without getting up to adjust. Built-in Android is good with many apps already installed like youtube, Prime, Netflix etc. This comes with built-in speakers which is good but if you want theatre experience, buy good speakers & it is easy to connect. I was able to do screen mirroring with my mobile. PS5 & X-box is easy to connect & play. but make sure elders won't complain when you play full weekend. You may need white screen, projector stand, 2 AAA batteries, lengthy power cable if power source is not near and surround sound speakers to get theatre experience. ... show more

  • Great value projector! Great value projector!
Size: Standard Color: Gray
Really impressed with this projector so far. Setup was super easy, and the auto-focus worked almost immediately after turning it on. Having Google TV built in is a huge plus since I didn't need to plug in a Fire Stick or other streaming device. The picture looks sharp and bright, especially at night, and the built-in speakers are better than I expected. I've mainly used it for movies and YouTube, and everything has run smoothly. Overall, it feels like a lot of projector for the money and has been a great addition to my home setup. ... show more

  • This Projector Outperforms Expectations, it's competition, and even itself! This Projector Outperforms Expectations, it's competition, and even itself!
Size: Standard Color: Gray
I've been using the older WiMiUS P18 since early 2020, and it's been reliable enough that I never felt the need to upgrade. Paid around $240 for it back then. But after trying the new G1, I can definitely see the improvements. This model has Google TV built in, so you can mirror your phone directly to the projector. It comes with several streaming apps already loaded and ready to use out of the box. There are still the typical ports for manual connections if you need them. The interface is user-friendly and responsive - no lag when switching between apps or navigating menus. Setup was straightforward and everything runs quickly. Super easy, super quick. My P18 was basically unusable with any lights on - it needed to be completely dark. My phone camera didn’t capture the pixels perfectly, so I closed the blinds slightly for the photos, but in person the G1 was impressively clear. The G1 also offers three adjustable brightness levels in the settings, which is a solid feature for its price - especially compared to projectors that cost ten times as much. At night, the picture quality becomes even crisper, and the frame rate remains very smooth, so I’d definitely recommend using it in darker environments. I provided pictures and a video of the projection in daylight and at night. Although projectors are intended for dark settings, this model stands out by delivering clarity in illuminated environments. Both models are native 1080p, but the G1 supports 4K downscaling and there's something about the image quality that's just easier on the eyes. When you watch them separately the difference seems minor, but side by side you notice the G1 is subtly better. The Dolby speakers are much louder and don't get tinny at high volumes like the P18 does. They're not going to replace a true surround sound system, but adding speakers powerful enough for that would make the projector significantly larger. The G1 is actually smaller than the P18 overall, and looks nicer too - it's a well-designed piece of equipment. Where the G1 really separates itself is the auto focus and auto sizing. It automatically adjusts to whatever screen size you're using, even odd dimensions, and focuses itself for a clear picture. You can still focus manually but I haven't needed to. This a great projector to upgrade too and a great projector for novices. WiMiUS projectors are definitely high quality projectors, as my old P18 is still going strong, although it's being replaced. ... show more
