This review will address packaging/shipping/delivery, parts, assembly, function & usage, and overall impressions. Packaging: Double-boxed (very sturdy manufacturer/CYKOV box fits snugly inside a heavy-duty Amazon box), both fully intact; no visible damage, watermarks, etc. No shipping or delivery issues. Parts: All parts are present, individually packaged and depicted in photos in an assembly instructions booklet. The welds on the steel base look good. White cotton gloves are included--a nice touch of class. Small parts (screws. bolts, washers, etc.) to include a 5mm T-handled Allen wrench, are vacuum sealed on a blister pack card. Now here's a very nice consideration on the part of the manufacturer, CYKOV; each of the fasteners (bolts, screws, etc,) includes an extra one in its respective blister pack--now that's proactive customer service, and very appreciated. I didn't lose any in the ensuing assembly process--but, I'll admit to having been there on occasion. Assembly: The assembly instructions booklet is very clear and overall very good. All parts are identified in photos. Following the step-by-step instructions w/photos is not the least bit challenging. You need no more tools or fasteners than what are provided. One thing I found that was not mentioned in the instruction booklet was that the right-side arm and bracket, each bagged separately, were each secured with yellow tape on their protective bags--no doubt to differentiate from the left-side arm and bracket which were secured with clear tape. Very thoughtful, that likely precludes a potential mix-up during assembly. Following the instructions, full assembly took me less than one hour (including a leisurely coffee break). Function & Usage: Seat padding is firm, but comfortable; padding on the arms is less firm, yet quite good. The overall range of motion is as expected; the 360* rotation and rocking (fore & aft) are smooth. Hydraulic elevation (up & down) is firm and consistent. The actuator arm can also move in/out to lock/unlock the hydraulic cylinder, and can even lock in a reclining position. Reclining resistance is, of course, adjustable. No matter the attitude of the position, the chair feels very stable. For routine office applications, this chair will meet all needs in a firm yet comfortable manner. The adjustable lumbar is wider and more supportive than I expected--very well done. Overall I find this chair quite comfortable, especially as it encourages good posture and thus tends to diminish stiffness and fatigue. On a personal note . . . For me, as a guitarist, the flip-up arms are a godsend. It's tough to maintain good posture during extended practice/playing sessions when the lower bout of your instrument is constantly bumping a fixed armrest. Now I don't have to give that perpetual annoyance a second thought. Yes, I am very pleased with this chair. If you are in need of such a versatile chair, this one will not disappoint.

Heavy duty card box, everything is well packaged. Not many parts to put it together. No need for instructions, the bolts package make it very easy, everything is spelled out. Spare parts, nice touch. Very confortable, easy lumbar adjustments. I spend quite a bit on my desk. So the lumbar support is important. It comes with a cover, so o can remove and wash. Now I'll have to buy a new desk to match the chair. The Poodles were instrumental, although they could not handle the hex tool. You won't be disappointed.

Solid and sturdy chair that can hold up to 300lbs so it's perfect for the big/tall person. Thick padding with a leather seat cushion and leather-topped comfy armrests. Assembly is easy if you don't tighten all the bolts too soon. Get them in place and started then when you're ready and have everything adjusted you can tighten it all down. Only had it a couple of days now but it's been great to use all day long.

So far this chair is pretty great for the money. A definite improvement from previous models by this company, which I’ve purchased in the past. Main improvement in the seat cushion area, it’s thick & comfortable! I’m giving it 5 stars for these reasons: The assembly was easy, due to very clear instructions, down to the bubble packed parts with clear labeling. This company excels at customers service and clear communication. They have helped me in the past when I had problems with a previous chair, made every whole for me, easily.

This is a great chair at a great price, but what really stands out is the customer service! When my chair arrived, the regular height was about 2 inches too tall for me, so I couldn't flat-foot the floor. (70cm leg inseam at 5'9, for reference!) I saw in another review someone had contacted customer support to ask for a shorter gas cylinder, and did the same. Sure enough, they sent me a shorter stem for free!! Now this chair fits me perfectly! I love the green color! It's a subdued, mossy, olive-y green. The fabric is comfortable and the pleather is stuffed plush. The recline and height are easy to adjust and the recline to lock. Note, though, the back doesn't recline independently from the seat - they move together, as shown in the images. The lumbar support is nice and easy to adjust. The whole thing feels sturdy. The adjustment is simple - press down on the handle to lower, and press up to raise. Pull outwards to unlock the tilt, and lean back however you'd like. Push inwards to lock the tilt in one of 4 positions: upright, leaned back some, leaned back more, and leaned super back! Unlock, and lean back again a bit, and the tilt is free again. Twist the big cap on the bottom to increase or decrease tilt resistance, as well. I'll be sure to update this review if I run into longevity issues. If you don't see any updates, then there haven't been any issues :) Edit: Jul 9th '24: still no issues, but heads up that the base/wheels area is the perfect size to eat a Roomba. It often catches mine, but not a big deal. Doesn't hurt the Roomba, just gets it stuck and it can't get itself back out

I received my CYKOV office chair and appreciated the heavy gauge box used to pack my chair. The instructions are some of the best I have seen. You can tell thought was given to all details. Nice hardware, thick metal, thicker plastic, good upholstery and an ease of assembly. It has a taller gas lift cylinder. Nice lumbar support as well. A good value and quality chair.
