Absolutely lovely cotton spandex knit! Great weight for summer clothes! It’s definitely got a nice, soft hand (I wonder if folks who think it doesn’t are used to polyester- this is a very soft, smooth cotton). Of course, all fabric has sizing in it from the manufacturing and packaging process, so pre-wash it and it will get softer (it’s basically like starch). I purchased the white and after scouring and mordanting it dyes beautifully with natural dyes (and eco-prints perfectly)! ... show more

The fabric seems okay, but it's 58 inches wide with the selvage and not 60 inches wide as stated in the description. Unfortunately there's not time to find a substitute since I need it right now.

Should’ve paid attention to percentage of spandex, it’s a little stretchier, but that gives it good recovery & the fabric is good quality. I would recommend this since now I know about the stretch.

I used this for toddler leggings and some newborn baby items. The weight of this was perfect for my projects! I definitely want to purchase other colors (I had ordered the black). The recovery has been excellent and it washes/dries very well. What with pulling clothing on and off a baby and two toddlers, it returns to its original size without issue. My next step will be to add some iron-on vinyl to those projects and see how it takes and holds up. ... show more
