The product is easy to use but the reason I purchase it is that has a USB port that I thought could be used to update the software. I owned a scanner years ago but there wasn't a way to update the software so after vehicles built after 2008 it would no longer scan. I hope the manufacturer has a web site where the software can be updated. ... show more

It would have been better if the freaking thing came with a real instruction booklet. I was able to clear the codes and get the vehicle to pass emissions test but, without instructions you had to hunt and peck your way around.
