Very quiet, flow is strong and it’s nice to have built in heater. With the pre-filter, no need to clean the whole filter for a long time, clean the pre-filter is much easier. Worth the money

This is by far the best canister filter I have ever owned. Easy to maintain. To change carbon pads you don't have to take top off. Just push a lever and turn the pre-filter to take out. Pull off old carbon sponges and replace with new. Reinstall pre-filer and lock the lever! Also, this is the asbestos filter to prime. It only took 3 easy pushes and it was primed. Other filters I've had to push 15 to 20 hard pushes before priming. Excellent quality for the price. ... show more

Totally worth it the setup was super simple and after five minutes of getting the air out this thing is super quiet my air running in the tank is louder. No cabinet enclosure. Watch you tube on pimp my filter to set it up correctly absolutely love this filter using it on a 75 Gallon tank. My only complaint is that oase did not provide silicone grease for the seals. Other than that no complaints. I have tried all canister filters and this is the best. It is very well made and the design is flawless. No leaks boil hot water and dip the hose in it turns soft and molds to the unit and the inlet and outlets. If you want the best you have to pay.I would not recommend aquel because if parts are not perfectly aligned you can't close it and the lip that that it clamps to is very cheap had to return because it broke when closing hope this helps out others ... show more

Hoses that feel like you’re going to break the filtration piping, flow is weak compared to Fluval x6 on my other thanks. A lot of bells and whistles like dispersed water flow, hidden heater, and easy cleaning of the debris sock but not worth the price. Had high hopes.

Love not having heater showing in tank & awsome being able to clean out pree filter once a week to keep down detritus then to ammonia & Nitrates. Quiet also but good flow from inflow to tank👌
