    • Great chair - Even better with rollerblade wheels and a short cylinder!
Like the others here have said, this chair is super streamlined, sturdy, and quite comfortable but not at the expense of excellent back support. The only thing I would point out is that unless you are working at a sit/stand desk or are over 6 feet tall, you may want to install a shorter heavy duty cylinder into it instead of the factory one, as it does sit pretty high even on its "lowest" setting. I installed a Gromax 165D.HD cylinder I purchased from that popular online e-auction site, and it is PERFECT. Another thing that adds height in my case is the 3" aluminum / chrome rollerblade wheels I have installed. Look online here on Amazon and I'm sure you'll find some that work perfectly well - just know it will add about 3/4" - 1" of extra height that you might regret unless you get a shorter cylinder to offset the raise. With my short cylinder and rollerblade wheels, this chair is PERFECT for me - I REALLY like it so far. It's the most expensive office chair I've purchased thus far. It glides silently and effortlessly, doesn't make any noises like my old one, and is amazingly supportive and comfortable whether sitting up straight or chilling out in a reclined position. I'm VERY happy with my purchase and minor modifications to it. If you're looking for a very good chair with some nice polished accents and a modern design, this is definitely a GREAT choice. ... show more

I have had this chair for a couple months now and that is great quality. Very durable If you could tell it was me for good materials however the cushion feels like I am sitting on a rock. I’m legit 6’9, 265lbs and bought the tall version of this chair as it was marketed towards people up to 7’1. Let me be clear by saying that this chair is too small. Positives: - The seat height is very good, I have long legs and at its top height it was a little too high for me and had to lower it down. - The base and wheels are awesome, it glides seamlessly and feels very sturdy. Negatives: - Back seat is too small, my shoulders come up over the top. Can’t be adjusted in height which is a shame. - The seat is not large enough to fully support my thighs, even with seat slided fully forward. - The arms can’t be extended in or outward, making this chair a little narrower than I would prefer. - With head support at full length, it is still supporting my neck more than my head. I wanted to love this chair but found that it was just too small in every aspect. For the price point and associated marketing I would expect it to be much larger instead of only having a taller cylinder. Will be returning it and getting back onto my $300 chair from Office Depot I bought 5 years ago until I find something that is actually designed for taller people. ... show more

Most amazing chair! You will not regret this purchase ! The COVID changed my whole work situation. I’ve gone from apx 5 hrs a week sitting at my home desk to over 40 hrs! Within weeks of this transition, my back began to hurt so badly that I thought I might need to see a doctor. Then it dawned on me , it’s my office chair. I did a lot of research-( tested as many chairs that I could at all local Furniture and office chain stores. I read reviews on- line. I realized that a quality office chair was going cost me some money but give me my mobility back and take away my back pain. My research paid off! This chair is worth every penny! Perfect for me! No more back pain in fact when I sit down in this chair I feel a therapeutic comfort! I am 6’ tall so this chair was one of the few that accommodated my long legs with the deep seat and supports my lower back. Also, the adjustable arm rests allow for a perfect positioning of my arms regardless of task at desk. Assembly wasn’t too bad and came with required parts and tools. So overall I like the chair l. It reclines and supports me well at 6’4”. That said the seat has two elevating bolts at the back that cause the seat to tip forward. You can’t sit comfortably without feeling like you are sliding off the chair just a bit at a time. I’m considering returning it just for this issue. ... show more

    • GREAT CHAIR!!!! However, be mindful of the cylinder you use

Directions and build are easy; however, be mindful of which cylinder you use. Two cylinders are provided, one called "standard" and one for use by people around 5 foot, 6 inches, give or take. I am 5' 11" so I used the standard cylinder but found the chair was way too high. My feet dangled when I tipped the chair back. An initial attempt at swapping out the standard cylinder for the shorter was pretty challenging so I accepted the situation as it was. However, after reading through the other reviews, I decided I was going to do whatever it reasonably took to swap cylinders. 1.5 hours later, with a can of WD-40, a rubber mallet, vise grips, and a couple of allen wrenches, I got the longer cylinder out and the shorter cylinder in. The chair is now perfect and exactly what I wanted. I almost stayed home from work today to spend time sitting in and appreciating how solid it is. And appreciate my wife for the six hundred bucks... SO - UNLESS YOU HAVE SUPER LONG LEGS TAKE THE TIME TO CONSIDER YOUR CHOICE OF CYLINDERS BEFORE YOU BUILD YOUR CHAIR!!! ... show more
