I was worried that shorter kits wouldn't have enough wire for my install. The 20' of power wire was more than enough to run power from the battery in the engine bay to the amp I install in the trunk of my Crown Victoria. Good quality wire strands and jackets. This is true copper wiring that has been tinned to prevent corrosion, so don't be surprised when you see that the wire looks silver instead of copper. I like the woven sheathing on power wire, it gives the whole install a professional look under the hood. The fuse holder is easy to mount and the terminals are securely installed on the wires themselves. The only thing that would improve this kit would be if they supplied several more heat shrink tubes, as it was a bit difficult to locate ones large enough for this wire locally. Overall I would definitely buy this kit again, especially if I was installing an amp in the trunk or bed of a large car or truck. ... show more

Great product. I was looking at JL Audio and Wet Sounds wiring kits that were $150 or more. This kit actually came with more and I have wiring even left over. My setup is in a Sea Hunt 225 Ultra center console with a 300W JL Audio Monoblock Amp, a 10" JL Audio Subwoofer, and added a 300W JBL Marine amp to clean up the existing JBL speakers that came stock with the boat.     • 100% copper is why you need these wires.

This is the type of wire you want. Real copper not copper clad. You will not have signal loss like copper clad wires. No matter how pretty or cheap the copper clad wires are you get a 40% signal loss. That means you lose quality, and power. So a 1000 rms amp could sound more like the 600 rms amp you just replaced. Remember, you can polish a turd but it's still a turd. These wires however are extremely good and 100% copper. ... show more

This is a very high quality wiring kit one of the best I've ever found and it is a reasonable price it is solid 4 gauge and all copper you can tell by the weight of it the only problem I had was the fuse holder they included was good but the fuses they included to go with it are the wrong size for the fuse holder the fuse holder was ANL and the fuses were mini ANL so I took off one star for that ... show more

Perfect except for, size of ring on end of cable. I had an 8 gauge rockford and the bolt I use for the ground was a perfect fit but with this product it was to small. I had to drill the end piece to make it work. I did the big 3 recently and SAME problem connecting it to the alternator. So frustrating that such a thick solid cable to connect to such a small bolt. I dislike making adjustments to cable connections like this but I will take that issue next time i need cables for our other car with the solid product they sell. ... show more

Best amp kit I've owned. Quality of the wire, what's included, hands down the best inline fuse block for an amplifier I've ever seen/used and the price point is great! Only thing that would make this kit better would be to have 12awg wire instead of 16awg, but that's just my preference for subwoofer wiring. ... show more
