Turns screen off automaticfally after 5/10minutes of use. Works perfectly for my Corolla 2011. Helped with load to my amp and battery feel more comfortable with the power draw. It’s voltage mattches the cars and acts as a mini storage unit but it’s more efficient to use it as a buffer between power and amp. Update 05/21 - it stopped working completely. So this thing is total garbage. I've sold and installed car audio for 20 years and have never had a cap fail. Good thing is it quit working in enough time to return it. Does about as good as the Scosche 1/2 farad you can get at Walmart but it looks better because it's wrapped in black. Gives up the ghost on a 2k mono block MB Quart so it's not like a lot is being asked from it. 5 farad should be more than enough for 2k. ... show more
