This looks like it should work. The power wire exterior measures almost 9.5 mm in diameter. It was difficult to get a measurement of the copper wire without stripping the wire yet, but it looks like about 7.10 millimeter. The power wire was my main concern with wiring an amp. Everything else in the kit looks a pretty decent quality. I can't quite comment on the metallurgy of the power wire. It does have a slight silver sheen to the cut end. It could be copper clad aluminum, but I'm not sure. given the size it's more than enough to power a 1000w amplifier without issues. The cable and the outer jacket is quite flexible, smooth, not sticky and should meet my needs very well. Only complaint is the cheap plastic firewall grommets. Pretty much worthless. Get a rubber one or the bullet style that tighten down on the wire. Red power wire is 17 FT 1 in Black grounding wire is 36.75 in RCA cables are 17 ft 16 gauge speaker wire is 18 ft 0.5 in Blue remote wire is 17 ft 0.75 in In all it is a very good quality looking kit. The cables are thick and tough, the sound quality once installed is great, and is extremely durable even in tight, vibrating, sharp spaces. I say you’re getting pretty good value for your dollar here and not having a skimp on quality.

Power wire is very thick and tough, seems to be 4 gauge as advertised. Positive wire is plenty long, more than enough for my large SUV. Ground wire is short, but was able to make it work. Fuse seems high quality, very easy to loose screws. RCAs seem to be of good quality, and so is the speaker wire which seems to be 14 gauge. The one cheapo part is the translucent blue wire to switch amp on and off, it is not a big deal because this is not used for anything more than a switch but it does make it a pain to strip, connect to amp, and splice to head unit. ... show more
