Honestly special spade connector for the ground. Isn’t that convenient. Had to modify it to make it work because the holes are too small for the bolts you were going to ground onto. And why does everybody think a two or 3 foot ground cable is enough. Besides the ground, everything else seems high-quality.     • Best Amp Kit for the Money
There is alot of kits out there, Kicker, Rockford Fosgate, Boss, Stinger, and NVX to name a few. I love this kit for the value and quality. I don't think you could get a better kit for the dollar. When it comes time to buy another amp kit this is the kit I will be going with. Top notch.

    • Some Issues
I was looking for an amp kit that wasn't an "Amazon special" but that also wasn't overpriced so I landed on this one. Seems to be a decent amp kit from what I can tell. The wire is all copper and super flexible. The best thing I found with this kit is the speaker wire they include is 12AWG instead of the typical 14AWG or even 16AWG. The ground wire is a bit of an issue for most. For starters its 1' shorter than advertised, which didn't affect me, but could affect others. Also, I'm not sure what type of lug is terminated to the ground wire but it was absolutely useless. I had to terminate a new ring terminal on it, which luckily I had laying around. The kit also didn't include any wire loom, which was kind of a surprise for me, but again I had some laying around so no big deal. I'm not sure I would purchase this kit again. ... show more

Wow, extremely good quality. Tru spec wires is a MUST for any sort of speaker installment and these wires are top quality. Price is a little higher than you could spend with some other cheap wire, but I wanted nothing other than the best.

This had extra length so that there was no problem getting the power all the way from the battery to the amp in my 2015 F150 supercrew.

    • Appears and feels like good quality
Appears and feels like good quality. I am not an expert at electrical wiring so I won't complain/compliment about the core wiring being 100% copper, etc. I deducted 1 star because this kit should have been labeled as a "SUBWOOFER AMP KIT" or "2 CHANNEL AMP KIT" because it comes with only 1 set of RCA cables. Should you need this for a 4 channel amp, you'll have to track down a matching set of RCA cables. Unless it doesn't matter to you that the RCA's do not match in design, color or internal quality of the RCA's. And yes, I did know this prior to purchase, but still think it should be labeled for specific applications. The other problem, where I've deducted another star, is the fuse block design. There are 3 mounting holes at the base, to mount this block to your car. Two of which are directly under the power IN/OUT ends! The third hole is directly under the fuse, in the center of the base. This makes for a BAD design because the IN/OUT positive cable could potentially make contact with the mounting screws, which is mounted to the car, typically to the metal part of the car - that is GROUND. These mounting holes for the screws should ALWAYS be outside and away from the positive cables. For my application, I'll use the center mount and avoid the 2 outside holes, hoping the block will not move, rotate around or worse, the plastic cracks/breaks from engine heat. Using double-side adhesive or tape is ugly and probably won't hold up too long inside the engine bay either. Such a simple design flaw, but a very hazardous flaw that can easily be avoided. Take extra care to keep your power cable wires clean of straying strands! Maybe solder the ends before inserting in the fuse block IN/OUT(?). ... show more
